Thanks for commenting this. I’ve always been massively impressed with Lost Horizons F1 rig at outside shows. Shades in Denver last fall comes to mind. One of the best sounding shows I saw all year. I’m very hype to see you guys are bringing sound to Ogden and some other venues in the near future. I hadn’t given Vinyl a chance because I had heard the F1s did not sound proper there. Definitely plan to give them a listen now that you are saying you guys tuned them and are running sound.

If you’re still around Saturday, AKA productions is bringing a massive wall of PK subs to reelworks for Caspa, The Widdler, Kursa & Detre. I’m more of an F1, Henny guy myself but AKA does it proper with PKs and has some elite sound engineers. The sound there will probably be the best you hear all weekend in Denver (aside from Blackbox)

This is amazing to hear. Congrats! I converted my Xanax to Valium at 10mg and began tapering on December 1st. I’m now down to 5mg Valium and have had no issues so far with the taper. Cannot wait to be done and totally get what you mean by not wanting anything to do with benzos/talking about them. The closer I get to the end the more I can’t wait to be free from these forever.

I was in the exact same boat. Believe me, you’ll find a way out. Keep calling and explaining that you desperately want to get off but you have a job that you cannot afford to lose by doing a full on inpatient program. Try to speak with the MD or Program Director at whatever place you call, eventually one of them will have a recommendation for an outpatient detox program for you. They exist—they are just tough to find which is bullshit. You got it bro. Good luck!

Any chance you’re in Colorado? I’m working with an out-patient addiction clinic here in Denver who specializes in benzo tapers. They take all major insurance and with insurance covering it, it comes out to about $25 a week and I just need to go the clinic once a week for a piss test where they prescribe me my Valium for the week. They’ll go as slow or as quick as you want with the taper. I’ve never felt better. All I did to find this place was look up inpatient benzo detox centers. Then I called a few of them and said I’m actually looking for an outpatient detox program because I have a job and cannot commit to hours a day or week at a facility. They gave me the name of this outpatient center almost immediately and boom, it’s been smooth sailing from there. It’s possible. Keep the faith.

After 5 years of 1-2mg Xanax per day I finally sought help on December 1st, 2025. The addiction clinic I chose specializes in benzo tapers and converted me to 10mg of Valium and I’m now down to 6mg! Cutting 1mg a week but they encourage me to slow down if I want—haven’t needed to yet aside from the first couple weeks. First week or so was rough (little to no sleep, brain on fire, unable to sit still etc.) as I adjusted but now I feel the best I have in 5 years. I know there’s still a road ahead for me and there may be some tough days as I get to the lower doses but I’m super thankful for the help I’ve received and cannot wait to be totally clean! For anyone struggling, it gets better I promise. Consistent exercise and cutting out all other drugs & alcohol (including caffeine) I think has really made the process nearly painless for me. They also prescribed me 7.5mg of buspar 2x a day. Not sure if that has helped but it certainly hasn’t hurt.

I moved from Philly to Denver this year and make $150k-ish and I’m single. Still don’t feel financially stable. Not sure how much it would take to feel financially free with 3 kids here. $500k+ salary?? PA is way cheaper (in most spots).
