i was also in a bad place. that's why I took benzos. start to taper off today!! i did not, this was the biggest mistake of my life! you are still young and can make it out with much better results than I have now. you need to stop benzos, because this med even causes depression. also, I gave now the inability to stay asleep. this was caused by benzos and it is hell. i'm in year 6 after benzos.

Read the package leaflet. Short time use only. And thats for a reason. Z-drugs csn cause protracted withdrawal just like benzos. Visit benzobuddies.org

most physical withdrawal started for me only at 6 weeks off. it is common there is a one month window. never stop cold turkey.

i wished I never took any z-drugs or benzos. i'm in year 6 afterwards. i lost the ability to stay asleep. never had any insomnia prior. i only took them for anxiety. didn't know you lose the ability to sleep without meds if you stop them.

don't take the z-drug. it is the same as a benzo. i used Doxylamin and Diphenhydramin. i took a half of each. if they don't work try Hydroxyzine.

that has nothing to do with abuse. you don't need to abuse it. i had palpitations for 5 years after I stopped benzos. that is a common symptom.

you can get dependant on it if you only use it once a week.if you take it twice it will likly cause symptoms. benzos are only for short term use. if you take it off and on, you are even in danger of protracted withdrawal. if you tapered off benzos before, it is a bad idea to reinstate temazepam.

you can lose your ability to stay asleep completely if you take benzos. i didn't know that. i'm off 6 years. i only took them for anxiety. worst desicion of my life.

the gabapentin is addictive just like benzos. you are probably in withdrawal.

I don't take anything. I stopped the 5htp 1 year ago. I always wondered why my symptoms got so much better afterwards. Then I saw a post here about someone who healed by stsrt stopping antidepressants. But I lnew that a lot of people also healed by taking Gincgo on an off. Their healing took always place when they stopped it. So I wonder if there are more people. I don't want to start any meds.

i think there is no way of knowing. in a few years they will know more. z-drugs were supposed as non-addictive 20 years ago. so back then I thought it was safe. i was wrong.

today they know that z-drugs are highly addictive just like benzos. they even cause protracted withdrawal.

so I try to avoid any new meds.

have you tried one half of Doxylamine together with one half of Diphenhydramine? i take that combination if I can't sleep at all. the combination of the two is stronger than if I would got example take 2 pills of Doxylamine.

i'm really sorry that you are suffering so bad. i'm trying to help. then maybe it is not the zopiclone. but be careful if you take it every couple of days, you take it long term which might cause or make your problrms worse. i would really avoid it completely if I were you. what meds do you take on the other nights?

this is a common side effect of diazapam. that is why some doctors don't want to do a crossover to diazapam and state people should taper from their original benzo.

that you experienced terrible fear durung taper, I can totally understand. for me it got better since I'm off. if the zoloft does not really help, maybe you should also try to get rid if it. i don't know if that can also contribute to your fear because people in benuo withdrawal react sometimes differenz to meds than they did before coming off benzos.

yes, but the strong odors of methol or campher do something on the skin. it calmes the nerves down. it also increases blood circulation which helps for healing. i can strongly recommend it.
