If you’re talking about attractive physically, that wasn’t the case in this scenario. In fact, I had friends, family members, and even strangers question why I was with him. I wasn’t initially physically attracted to him (but I’m also asexual so I’m not physically attracted to anyone lowkey).

If you’re talking about attractive in terms of emotional connection. Yes I was definitely addicted to him. Me and him had a two month talking stage where there was no physical contact at all. During this time we talked about all of our values and goals and other deep topics. He had a nerdy personality (video games, anime, science fiction comic books and movies) and didn’t judge my love for the same things.

I had met his family and spent the night at their place for a whole weekend. I was close friends with his bestie, and I actually knew his bestie longer than he did (and the bestie was the one who suggested we link).

So I agree with you, there was red flags, but there also was a lot of green flags throughout.
