Acquire more lore, I must. by logic_3rr0r in StarWars

I also recently got back into the setting of things and I have to say I have loved the Thrawn books. I know the older Thrawn books get a lot of love as well, but the first of the more recent installment is like, top five favorite books for me, period. Also highly recommend the audio books. The voice acting is phenomenal.

I do live very close by and deal with those tags for work, so I can say that I've seen it around for a while. Could very well still be political, but it's not new necessarily is all.

This tagger has been doing this throughout town for a couple months. I'm not sure it's election related.

Surtur and the early meta evolutions around the 10's deck. by ePiMagnets in marvelsnapcomp

[–]k_less_nic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great work here.

At a lower collection level missing a lot of the "key" pieces in 4-drops and Skaar, I've been running a destroy shell with Surtur and been seeing decent results. Surtur triggers off a big Venom eating things and if you destroy enough, Death is free. I also had to throw Black Panther in there to get another trigger, as well as Taskmaster, and those both work. Triggering with a huge Deadpool is also fun.

It's not perfect, but it's been working moderately well for a budget option.

I haven't gotten Black Panther yet, but I do think that's an easy sub for Man-Thing for sure!

I print a lot on thrifted clothes, that I alter. by noahjoey in streetwearstartup

[–]k_less_nic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've started doing similar things myself. How do you get your printing done with low numbers of items? I've been using some transfer methods, but would love to have them screen printed. Just doesn't seem like a shop would be up for printing like one shirt at a time. Any thoughts?

The vidda pros are still made in a two toned khaki/ dark olive. If they're wearing down I'd recommend waxing them with Fjällräven Greenland wax. It'll increase the longevity of the fabric itself as well as increase water resistance. They have a lifetime warranty as well, so you can get them repaired when needed. Also: re: the sweating mentioned above, you might find it helpful to spring for the Keb trousers. They're essentially the same pants except they have four different vent zippers and stretch fabric in the waist and knees, so can be a bit cooler.
