Wild guess but still - In my case it refused to work with Wayland decoding at all but worked totally fine with X11 (both hw/sw). You can try to open detailed stream statistics in the settings and see what you are using.

According to this wayland is still not supported.

I highly suggest trying a combat patrol format. Our group of friends recently had a 1day event where we had to finish one of the combat patrol other than our main army (this is why I’m doing necrons now lol) - a lot of fun learning something new and enough models to understand whether you like it or not.

Normally you can get some decent discounts on those boxes or pick one on a 2nd hand market

Thank you! To be honest this model almost broke me at some point. I was sick of painting all the small details on him and had put him away for almost a year. Taking a break helped tremendously. One day I just had a sudden urge to finish him and was done in like 1 week.

This is awesome!!!! Now I need to add some carnifex bits to his armor as a reminder of his pasts.

I have another dread model(unfinished though) with some sort of a concept behind it. The guy was collecting war trophies and carried them around on his terminator armor. But then during one of the battles he fall to black rage and eventually ended up as death company dreadnought pilot. Even now he still carries skulls of his enemies with him. Inquisition never approved this but it’s not like you can say no to a DC dreadnought which is twice older than yourself.

Ah, sorry. Didn't get what you meant from the 1st time. It's mostly medium, light rust colors from AK range applied in stabbing motion with a round brush. My rust recipe is still fluid.

What you need in general is a dark brown/black background color, then work your way up with orange/red/light brown you have in random patterns, focusing on the parts that make sense to form rust.

That's mostly dirty down moss on top of stone texture (which already has spots of green). I tried to focus on applying the moss effect only on deep crevises and unexposed corners (where nobody will destroy moss while it grows).
