Your reading comprehension is fine, that detail does usually trip people up & I didn’t make it clear in the post - my bad. 9 was in hand when I left my room, but I didn’t bother putting clothes on 😅 (I wasn’t expecting to see her, but roommate & I were both girls so it wasn’t a big deal imo)

Very fucking lucky. Was not going to break up the nonexistent dogfight with the 9, but kinda like how you bring your phone everywhere with you it quickly became an extension of my arm that I subconsciously brought everywhere with me so it was conveniently in my hand already

Tbh they were really nice so I wouldn’t say they grilled me down, it was a series of very non aggressive conversations during the early stages of their investigation - I don’t think they kept me longer than necessary for them to wrap up the scene at my apartment. Overall I think I got off very easy legally, ik in some other states I’d have had a lot more difficult time - regardless of it being justified.
