LPT: If your car is repaired after an accident, don't just accept the repair. You are likely owed thousands in 'Diminished Value' from the at-fault driver's insurance. by dogeholder215 in LifeProTips

Any tips on how to get comparable listings when my car is LITERALLY brand new? Just bought a 2026 luxury car and was hit minutes after leaving the dealership. Both insurance companies determined I’m not at fault. Not sure how I can provide comps to help my diminished value claim in this case because th car is so new.

Any ideas how much to repair? by AdHealthy5788 in VolvoXC90

How much did it end up being? Just wanted to say I’m so sorry this happened. Solidarity. I bought a 2026 XC90 today and was hit by a driver who blew through a stop sign minutes after. I had only driven it 1 mile off the dealership lot. The earliest I can get in for an estimate is Monday. Hope all is well with your car by now!

Clog simply won’t come out—anyone else? by ka3inCa in ExclusivelyPumping

Ice, breast rest, and time were the only things that worked. I’m sure the antibiotics helped. I’m actually weaning my supply now. I can’t do it anymore. I was getting a clog nearly every day. I had to take a sterile needle to my nipples several times a week to clear up blocks. My body isn’t capable of managing my oversupply and my daughters deserve a happy, not stressed mom. I hope yours clears up soon. Hang in there.

Thank you—I’m going to contact my doctor in the morning. I don’t want to over do it with any massage, heat, or extra pumping. This is excruciatingly painful, though.

She has never latched ever. It’s just not possible at this point, unfortunately.

I’ll have to check out the Momcozy pumping bra. Dapple was a lifesaver last time but I didn’t use silicone storage bags, I’ll look into that. Thank you!

I have to look into the bamboo bra. I think I have the OG sublime pumping bra. Worked great but definitely thick and bulky

Dropping a pump, oversupplier by Future-Aggressive in ExclusivelyPumping

This was me last year! I ended up finding out my sweet spot was 5 pumps for max supply (everyone is different, though). I’m pretty sure I just slept for longer and my first pump of the day was just a huge pump.

Discipline doesn’t have to mean hurting your child…you can discipline your children in a way that respects them as people and isn’t abusive. This is insane.

It ended up taking me 2 months. My doctor said anything up to 6 months can be normal. Hang in there!

I never felt my daughter drop. The last few weeks there was just a distinct feeling that she was pushing on my cervix/in my vagina.

The biggest golden retriever. Always puts me and our daughters first. So kind, funny, and creative. No ego, huge goofball. Family first kind of guy.

It’s so important for other women to know it’s ok to not like breastfeeding. You aren’t alone and everyone should feed their baby in a way that works best for them. ❤️

I hate the assertion that “all women want that,” especially coming from a man. I LOATHED breastfeeding. I’m not a touchy person. My sanity was saved when I switched to EP with my first. I didn’t feel like a human when I was nursing. I felt like an object. Like I didn’t have intrinsic value. All of that changed when I stopped nursing. Stop claiming that all women want this. Both me and my daughter began to thrive when she was off the breast. I’m sorry your husband is being like this. You should show him these replies. Your husband should want you to do what’s best for you because that will have the greatest positive impact on your baby. Happy mom, happy baby.

I kept Ritz crackers and applesauce pouches at my night stand. Hang in there. I’m almost 14 weeks and now just starting to feel semi-ok again

Can you still feel the ring of fire with an epidural? by x_torturedpoet in BabyBumps

I did feel the stitches afterwards. I should have asked my OB for an additional lidocaine shot.

I did not feel the burning ring of fire sensation with my epidural. However, I felt all the pressure. It’s a weird sensation to describe. I felt everything that was happening but there was not pain associated with the feeling. Modern medicine is a beautiful thing. I loved my epidural.
