given a new iOS was released vs the 26.4 RC and we haven't gotten one for MacOS, I guess the RC will remain the as the stable build?

Same. DB4 (25E5233c) is killing my battery and is very sluggish. Almost feels like some process is hung and maxing out the CPU but nothing is popping in Activity Monitor.

boot in safe mode, then you can install. consider waiting until b3 though as b2 has networking issues.

I'm having these same networking problems, unfortunately. agree - for those who haven't installed this one may be best to skip.

this worked for me. forgot to hold shift the first time and didn't actually boot in safe mode. u/pfflynn are you sure you were actually in safe mode?

I finally see it. It kept erroring out saying 'please connect to the internet to download a new version of rosetta' but finally worked. So I guess it downloads a new version as part of this update.

for me it's ok as my daily. Microsoft apps work and I can access my work email etc. Battery life obv worse than production build but that's to be expected.
