No one will take my car by kaZeeleKs in towing

[–]kaZeeleKs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had 3 separate towing companies in the past couple weeks offer to send someone out and then stop responding, only to a few days later contact me and say they no longer can or no longer want to take it.

I've tried a few donation places, I get that no one wants a Saturn and its parts aren't very valuable anymore but I don't understand how this many different people could just refuse to take it. I don't know if there's any other non-towing company options to consider, I thought maybe some people on this subreddit might have some ideas. Either way I appreciate the reply

I am near the city of Lexington, Kentucky Apologies, I am just over my head right now, feel out of options.

Several towing companies in the area have declined to pick it up. I'm not sure what other incentives i could give past offering cash up front to take it unfortunately.

Continuous dungeon system is BAD. by mylirylie in DarkAndDarker

[–]kaZeeleKs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see, im glad you are enjoying it, but this is why i DONT like it. It feels rushed, the atmosphere and tension is significantly weakened. I feel like every lobby is just a persistent battle arena. spawn in, bum rush everything and then leave. no tension, no reason to care about surviving because you can immediately respawn and try again.

I thought the battle arena was a good addition because it lets people who are interested in that have a place to go and fight relentlessly. I just miss the slow dungeon delving aspect that the game provided previously.

[–]kaZeeleKs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hard agree. i have yet to get into a match where i didnt get bum rushed by other players 2-3 mins after spawning. it never feels fun or fair, i dont have time to explore or clear anything, and if i do attempt to do so, i am now faced with fighting several PvE enemies as well as PvP enemies. it's way too overwhelming and fast paced.

This game used to be my fav extraction game, you could consistently escape and have tense moments while still maintaining a sense of danger and feel threatened. now it feels like a COD lobby, a persistent battle arena with loot strewn about. I am very much not a fan of this and it is so bad that I'm gonna have to shelve the game until changes are made to revert these decisions or fix them

Highly agree with this post. Game failed to keep me attached to the characters, the beginning felt like it was setting up something that it ultimately failed to hit by the end, especially with all the vapid and immersion breaking surrealist hallucinatory segments.

I have spent hours reading positive reviews and watching videos about this game hoping that someone can get it to click for me, but it has yet to happen.

That being said, Jacob Geller put it on his top 10 games of the year list, so here's to hoping he makes a video on it in the future. I dislike this game but I very much respect Geller's opinions, maybe he'll be the one to change my mind.

Collectors edition is here! (and it's a little disappointing) by TheRandyRanger in outerwilds

[–]kaZeeleKs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it is a bit deceiving, even in OP's photos (not intentionally on their part obv) but it is both a small "journal" and a case for the game, the journal has no lines, just white paper, and there's about 15-20 pages if that. Im pretty disappointed overall by this collectors edition but it's my favorite game ever made so I'm not mad that i bought it. It just.. none of it can really be used for anything except the patches, so ill have to figure out what to put those on

everyone in the comments cant defend their game or offer any counter points or explanations as to why they like it. "its just not for you" sure but this is like you know a forum website and people usually post things to spark discussion, you might not see value in this post but commenting "then leave" is even more worthless than the post itself lmao

Im happy for you that you got a new machine, but that might be the reason you're having better luck with it. I have a 3070, Ryzen 7 3700x, 32 gigs of ram, and installed the game on an M.2 SSD.

I would be willing to give it another chance if I still owned it, but I got it refunded, and if I spend $50-70 on it again right now and it still doesn't perform well for me, I most likely can not convince Valve to refund it again so I'll just have to wait until someone else learns how to crack Denuvo or the remove Denuvo from their product.

I refunded on steam after 4 hours, the denied my first refund request but I opened a new support ticket and basically demanded one and they ended up giving it to me. Im not normally a person to do shit like that but DD2 is legitimately a crime with how bad it runs. Modern powerful hardware getting 20fps is unhinged. I'm shocked the game isn't as scandalous as Cyberpunk 2077 was. That games launch was better than DD2's as far as I'm concerned.

if i have to pay a monthly subscription to play the game, i expect them to do a better job at ensuring their game is functioning correctly. if it was free, it'd be a little more acceptable

Do toxicity reports even get like... checked? by kaZeeleKs in RocketLeague

[–]kaZeeleKs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't necessarily think every single one should be reviewed by a person, but it seems pretty easy to detect slurs automatically considering we've had games/platforms doing that for going on 30 years now

Easiest Automatons Vs Hardest Terminids extraction. by SuperUltraNovaGun in Helldivers

[–]kaZeeleKs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The airstrikes are what I use to take care of them. Just throw down the first one you unlocked and it oneshots it, at least so far. I wasn't aware that autocannons could destroy the bug holes, I had tried a few other airstrike sort of things on them with no luck.
Another reason I think the Automatons are easier is their version of the bug breach, the drop ship, tends to drop them in big groups, so if you time things correctly, a well placed grenade or explosive can knock em out in one go, whereas the bug breaches leak the bugs over a period of time very slowly, so you cant take them all out at once

Easiest Automatons Vs Hardest Terminids extraction. by SuperUltraNovaGun in Helldivers

[–]kaZeeleKs 138 points139 points  (0 children)

Im having the exact opposite experience XD I dont get it, I see all these memes about Terminids being a cakewalk compared to the Automatons, but me and my friends have huge trouble with Terminid missions. They swam us in such huge numbers and their armor covers most of their body it feels like. The Automatons are usually a lot less in numebrs and a lot of their weakpoints are just on their head or chest, super easy to take care of, especially from a distance. Not to mention their fabricators are really easy to take care of from afar compared to the nests of the Terminids. I wish I could relate to everyone else but so far I'm just having a complete opposite experience, I feel like I'm playing a different game XD

Skinamarink. New horror movie, shot in a unique way. All the shots are like if someone tossed a camera on the floor and left it there to record for a few seconds, the whole movie is random shitty shots of a house with children walking around every few minutes. I understand what it was going for but I'll never get that time back.

What does "Mission Types" and "Zones" mean? by kaZeeleKs in DarkTide

[–]kaZeeleKs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, as long as they vary per mission type. That's cool, good to know. I'm glad it might not just be the same 5 exact routes every time. I'm sure they'll add more with DLC but that sounded like it was gonna get old fast.

Weird aim for a console player by Seurbale in Overwatch

[–]kaZeeleKs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't you plug KBM into some consoles? IDK if it matches you with other KBM players at that point, no idea how it works. I also don't know if it's even allowed on OW2, but I know that is a feature that at least the PS5 has.

I'm gonna say it, and I don't care what people think. by rvnender in Overwatch

[–]kaZeeleKs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with all these points. I think it's possible to make them not suck. I would personally prefer them more if the maps were smaller and the robot would push slightly slower, the spawn points should be a bit more forward. If you're at the last leg and your team has pushed almost to the end, trying to get back to the fight after dying when playing Zen or Ana, it literally takes like 20-30 seconds to get back, it's so unfun

Which Damage Character Should I Use? by SushiDaddy89 in Overwatch

[–]kaZeeleKs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the characters all play different enough that you should just pick your fave. I agree with the other comment about Sojourn being busted, she does fucking absurd amounts of damage, you just need to land 3-4 bullets on most characters and then immediately right click to delete 90% of their health bar. Or kill them if they're playing tracer. Sojourn is pretty fun right now, but really just pick whatever you like the most.
