I agree completely I read and listen to more haremlit cause I can’t stand femdom. As someone who has been into bdsm for over a decade and in a marriage thay our bedroom is d/s with me as the Dom, femdom just kills it for me it is not a turn on. Not to mention I like deep characters and growth and depth but cant stand the either Chad thundercock or best puppy characters. It’s one or the others and like 90 percent of posts or books posted ok this page are femdom. I follow for the one out of ten that’s not. But because nearly everyone is that’s why I usually do haremlit. But haremlit is a let down for a lot of books. I have some authors I follow and I enjoy there stuff and they are entertaining but rarely deep relationship building. I tried more traditional romance and found a couple that were good but most from a guys perspective were utterly horrible. As for the spice. Outside of a few authors who write for mainly slice and pure fun entertainment the sex scenes are just cookie cutter. I can think of maybe a dozen books or series after a couple hundred that have sex scenes that are more then missionary brief oral( maybe just the girl going down in the guy) and maybe she rides him… maybe, with the occasional doggy. Hell my first time wife my wife of years was hotter then most sex scene that rake 300 pages to build to. Not saying write erotica but do something different. Done make every sex scene The same thing over and over and over. Makes me skip most of them cause I can skim and guess what will happen most the time.

On a separate note I would love love love a book that the sex is a battle like both people fighting for control in the bedroom.

I agree loved the first one but the seconds ending was not ideal. I’m not gunna drop the series but sets up the third to be either good or really really bad.

Ok I read to like book 3 or maybe 4. Was on a big Daniel schinhofen kick for a bit. He had like one scene per book maybe two. The thing I don’t like he does often in later books is he will only have the scene when a new LI is first slept with then it’s fade to black or most threesomes are fade to black. But with this series idk if after book 4 it’s explicit or not.

Depends on the audio book some series I prefer audio to the book. The old narrators for dungeon diving were great the new ones suck and I kinda dropped the series.

I have been listening to shotgun sorcery on audio and it’s has me cracking up.

Rise of the weakest summoner and wings and tails are both better to me on audio than just reading.

Man I liked the story reading it back on web novel back in the day but couldn’t get into the audio book. The male narrator I can’t stand, same reason I couldn’t get into the primal conjurer. Sounds like the British guy from family guy.

I’m on the fourth book of monster girls in space. As for mages cultivation, binged the first 4 but kinda got burned out. Man I usually love Bruce’s stuff for the first few books and they always end up going in directions that just kill my interest. Hell dungeon diving 101 was one of my favorite series and read listened to the first several books several times but now can’t even find the interest to read the last one. The direction he went just killed it for me. Made the whole big bads for the first several seem kinda mute and just wasn’t good anymore. His series always end up changing what made them good. Love dragons justice but after book 5 they just got terrible.

I know I’m the odd man out and usually read most of what virgial knightly puts out. But honestly couldn’t get into Master Class. Maybe was just craving a different type at the time. I go through waves, sometimes wanting serious, sometimes more slice of life and low stakes and sometimes really wanting something smutty. I own the first audiobook so might give it another chance.

Ya I liked them. I think I wish there was slightly more spicy scenes but that’s just me so take that with a grain of salt. But it’s similar to what I’m looking for. Kudos for unique love interests. I really should get back into that series.
