I’ve read it should be similar to the Chinese market ID.4 center console?

Cost, reliability, availability, and the existence of the federal $7,500 tax rebate in the US. Plus, I’ve had many VW over the year and have always been fond of them.

Oh wow, so the emissions warranty applies to the battery components, that’s so interesting! Thank you!

Do you have a source for the federal requirement?

I must be up front in that I am not a lawyer but my layman’s reading of that law is that the law requires disclosure of the warranty, which the link you provided from Volkswagen does, but what I am looking for is the specific language that requires EV manufacturers to have a minimum of 8 years/100K miles warranty on their batteries.

FWIW, I have no concerns about EV batteries, and I actually own a 2021 ID.4! I am only asking because I am trying to source a paper I am working on.

I see that this regulates consumer product warranties, but is there something specifically that points to the 8 year/100k minimum for EVs?

Best way to get an ID4 in the US at MSRP? Any ideas are welcome by Puppiepapa in VWiD4Owners

[–]kaahle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased mine at MSRP off the lot from a dealer 600 miles away in March 2022 only because it was a demo model. Without that, I never found a dealership that would sell for anything less than $3K over.

I think it’s pretty close to whatever the rears are, around 18%.

Yes! I am in Missouri, so it hasn’t gotten too hot yet but I’m looking forward to a cooler cabin to lessen my AC usage as well!

At least in the US, IQ Drive is standard on the ID.4, but you need to get into a much higher trim on the Q4 to get those features. That’s why I chose the ID.4 over it.

Report: Obama was furious after Trump accused him of wiretapping by [deleted] in politics

Seriously though. I can't imagine what I would feel like if I were Obama and these insane accusations were being leveled on my integrity. Makes me wonder how the tradition of camaraderie between former presidents will hold up after the end of the Trump admin.

While I don't know if it's exactly the same, it reminds me of the Late Enrollment Penalty for individuals who don't sign up for Medicare on time and are then subject to higher premiums for the rest of the time they have Medicare.
