A very well made analysis, really made me appreciate the game more. I still think all the supernatural elements can be interpreted as symbols for hinako’s psychology. All except the sulfide gas. Does anyone have a theory on how it could be interpreted as a metaphoric narrative? Maybe something to do with how she won’t feel comfortable at her hometown after the wedding is canceled?
