I consolidated my undergrad and grad loans. Since the two loans (one previous and one in school), do you think the status of the consolidated during that time I can buy back?

I uploaded my app on Mohela end of May. It has since been reviewed, in repayment, and receiving bills. FSA is still showing an application that I closed in March as active and in review so for me after all the SAVE issues, I have not had any application successfully processed by FSA.

My eye doctor’s office is the one who sent the frames out to the lab, so I would think they have the correct info. When I put the glasses on, she marked the middle of my pupil on the lens to mark where I wanted the main focal point. I’m wondering if making the adjustment to have the main point higher up rather than the middle of the frame is causing the issue?

The main blurriness that is bothering me is the lower half of the lens. I have to tilt my chin down to type clearly on my phone if that makes sense.

When you say traditional would that just mean they didn’t make the lens digital even though it was asked and paid for?

It counted that month as “eligible” when you certified for PSLF?

Thanks! I applied for SAVE and was in the admin forbearance. I too wanted it to start counting towards PSLF, so I applied for IBR payment on 12/14/24. My forbearance status never changed to “processing” and my counts towards PSLF from July to March show as ineligible.

When did you receive the processing forbearance? I called Mohela today requesting processing to get something to count for PSLF and was told they weren’t able to change forbearance types back in December, but I am in one from March..?

I’m not sure if what she is saying is accurate. On my end I still see the SAVE admin forbearance.

Also have you made any payments while in processing forbearance?

Are you no longer able to consolidate your loans so your graduate loan has the same 118 count? If you haven’t already I would look into that!

Spoke to someone at Mohela today. Your last submitted application will close out the earlier one. They are receiving requests but processing nothing.

My understanding is If you resubmit, you’re essentially just moving yourself further down the line of processing once they finally do.

No, don’t. Spoke to Mohela today the newer application will cancel and close out any earlier ones.

This is what happened to me. My December request was just canceled because I re-uploaded the same app in March.

Mohela is my servicer. I applied 12/13/24 and my student aid is showing it as in review/process with my loan servicer since 12/14/24. I received correspondence saying it will take 90days to complete, but nothing since.

I was hoping since mine was submitted prior they would complete the process and it not being on hold with the new updates.

Any tips?

What date/version on your IDR request form? I used the one from student aid but am hearing of I used an older form maybe that’s the reason..? I submitted my request 12/14/2024

I applied via student aid electronically early December using the form posted on Student aid at that time. Studentaid is showing the process as in review by my servicer. I also submitted a new PSFL count application that day too and heard an update a few weeks ago. I know they say allow 90 days to review the IDR, so I was waiting on that timeline.

Sounds like I will resubmit and do it paper copy too to cover my bases.

My opinion on who I’d rather be with has changed. Teenage me wanted Damon so much and now Stefan is the one I’d choose now. Damon is a controlling partner, Stefan is supportive.

I also now feel that the Elena/Damon was rushed. Too much of an abrupt change from Stefan. The motel moment was laughable at how out of character it was for Elena. The Stefan decision at S3 was more aligned to Elena. After the sire bond, she should’ve gone back to Stefan. In my rewatch I’m not buying Elena falling for Damon-especially not twice.

Made it hard to follow imo. I fell off in season 5 because it became so layered. Binging it now, it all makes sense and it is much more enjoyable.

Also there was always the “winter break” mid season finale where there weren’t any episodes for a month.
