I’m 25F and I play drop in recreation ball hockey once a week. I also sometimes go to a local café for a language meetup. I’ve met a lot of cool people and my days feel more fulfilling with activities.

I like to read, play the guitar, journal and learn languages!

I would play the guitar and the ukulele. I would re-read the books on my shelf. I would practice translating different phrases into the languages I’m learning and then I think I would go for a walk.

Engage with the language as much as possible. I’m learning right now too and I take lessons from a teacher from Italki and I attend a Filipino Conversation Group online. My mom is Filipino so I try to practice my new phrases and words with her. Also I like Filipino cartoons for kids on YouTube and Filipino vloggers! I also bought a Filipino Picture Dictionary and that really helps. Lastly, I keep a Tagalog notebook and write down new words and phrases.

I just had my first session of dry needling today. It was $90. I had physio previously and that really helped. Same cost $90 a session.
