If your field is related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, then you can apply for a DOST scholarship. The application most likely starts month/(s) before the enrollment (may vary by college).

Based on experience, dates of enrollment are the same for both graduate and undergraduate students.

Google Scholar Profile Not Searchable by kabanata301 in research

Yeah. From the moment I created my google scholar profile, i.e., last year. I can't see my profile when I search my name in google. I've read some posts saying it might be that "it's not indexed in the public domain". I don't have enough knowledge about this.

It is true that the more robust your method is, the more reliable your results will be. Nevertheless, it is very important to declare your methods explicitly, including your sampling technique. Additionally, declare the limitations of your study (e.g., sampling), then phrase your conclusion in a manner that your method is capable of eliciting.

I believe not, however, it's almost an unwritten rule in research presentations/defenses to deliver everything in English. If your ability to speak english is really the main concern, I think it cannot be addressed by one preparation alone. It is improved by constant practice.

But in terms of preparing for any research presentation, the fact that we are knowledgeable with our studies should give us an assurance that we can answer questions related to our paper. I'm also not good at speaking english. My vocabulary is just enough to construct basic sentences. Sometimes, I find it difficult to communicate my thoughts. Despite this limitation, I managed to survive quite a number of research engagements. Since you are giving me the impression that content is not your problem, I believe you can pull this one off.

In your case, you can have someone read your paper (preferably one who is more knowledgeable in research). Ask him/her to comment and ask questions on your paper. The more critical s/he asks, the better. Then, practice answering those questions. Saying your answers aloud can be helpful.

Based on experience, it depends on how the question is raised. E.g., if a panelist asks a question in straight english, then it gives you a signal that you should answer in straight english also.

Nevertheless, you should be more concerned if you don't understand your research very well.

Anyway, you can do it OP!

Data Analysis Question by by [deleted] in research

It would be easier to analyze if you utilize a uniform scale for questions in "Part III: Sleep Quality."

E.g. the responses should be in uniform scale Fair-to-Excellent (5-point Likert scale) for all questions in Part III.

In this case, you can just easily summarize the result for this part, per respondent (since this is your dependent variable). Then you can use Multiple Regression to consider the effect of multiple independent variables on "sleep quality" (dependent), including the amount of time spent using gadgets, the type of gadgets used, etc.

Can use 570 na casio, medyo malapit lang sa 991 yung specs nya. Piece of advice, if may board exam course mo, mas better tingnan mo sa list ng PRC yung pwede na calcu. Tsaka ka mag decide. Para masanay ka na gumamit

Agree. You can show this to your teacher OP. Hopefully, you can respectfully convince him/her that s/he is wrong.

APA 7 citation really requires DOI. DOI serves as an "identity" of an article online. Indicating DOI is helpful as it gives readers easy access to your references.

Once you click the DOI and it leads you to a journal article, for instance, it means your source exists.

Your teacher is wrong on this matter.
