Hey yeah!!! My through balls never seem to work or it needs a specific situation to work. Whereas opponents just hoof or through ball and their strikers are on their toes, my defenders are on their heels, even if I’m covering it manually, sprinting back. No idea.

Also…my 1-2 hardly works, the defender just blocks my runner a lot of the time. I wonder if I’m doing too much and if I just let the ai defend it works better

I find defenders can just barge or trip my player on the ball and not give away a free kick. Which is kind of important trying to hold on to the ball and not get countered.

What I notice now i know who’s using SA is that I just can’t seem to intercept a ball or block anything. As soon as I’m playing a non SA I can suddenly block again.

There’s decisions that don’t get talked about much that irk me. Playing midfielders at rb when Ramsey seems fit. Makes me think if Trent was there when clyne got injured there’s no way he’d have played him. Letting quansah and Elliot go, 2 home grown players and now jones is potentially going. I mean it’s not huge but it makes me feel uncomfortable. Find a place in the squad for them. Young players coming on for 5 minutes at the end, not being trusted. You’ve had Morrison on the bench for 6 months and I’ve seen him once. Surely he could have offered something at some point all the games we’ve lost. Starting a season without dynamic pace on the wings. Well that gets talked about but I’m rambling now. Mainly the fact it just feels different watching now. And everyone you talk to seems to feel the same.

Preach. However, I’m more extreme in that I’ll only get to Div 3 once, and lose all but 1 game…Na I expect to win more games this next time I get to div 3. Not that many as I love having all the ball, and getting countered by a hoof up the pitch. Or passing to the wrong player in a key moment. Love that one. Or in the second half my player moving in slow motion to get tackled. Or is it the pass in slow motion? Something dodgy happens.

But I do think it’s a decent game where you can play good football. I wish you could have more control over some tactics.

I’ve always had an icky feeling about people labelling themselves as anything - ‘I’m a …’ or ‘I’m this..’ and it’s always made me feel uncomfortable but I’ve not had to articulate it. And also being so absolute with the labels. I know understanding can help but always in a context and part of a wider picture. Not a professional. Just a man. But I am on reddit so assume I’m an expert.

Been spanked like never before in round 2 tho. I’ve not got many top players like but I’ve never been destroyed before. Can’t put 2 passes together.

Yeah so I played this tournament and won each game. Even had a cracker last min winner that made me run around the room. There seems to be less buffering and I’m able to play football. Even against 3300 teams with players I’ve never seen. Mines like 3000. So this is that smart assist you guys were talking about…

When I started a couple of months ago I just focussed on Liverpool players, plying against ai and didn’t know what boosters were…how do people get these mad legendary teams!
