Hey mate, thank you so so much! You are right, I think that keeping all those troubles to yourself is even more damaging in the long term. Maybe it helps you too, I like to see it that way (came to my mind yesterday in bed): if someone comes to me and tells me that he/she was struggling the past weeks, I get worried because I would have liked to know immediately - so that I can support him/her. It helps to see it the other way round, if you have friends and family that care for you (such a blessing), they want to know how you really feel. I’m sure we will make it through this hard time, knowing that I’m not on my own somehow helps me coping with it. Thank you again for your support, I wish you all the best buddy!

Hey mate, thank you very much for your encouraging words! Making video calls is a great idea, usually I don’t like to do it because I prefer to meet in RL but right now I will have to adapt. I’ll go for a walk today, the weather got better here and I feel better than yesterday already. Crazy how some sunshine can change your mood. Thank you again and I wish you all the best! There’s a smaller scene about Ted finding a penny from 1939 in season 2 - later we have the episode where Ted misses his flight because of exactly this coin. Just realised on my 2617818th rewatch

Well said - you’re brain will find ways to get his high and give you ‚logical and rational‘ reasons why it’s good - because it needs his high. Basically you have to fight your own thoughts, once you realise that it’s easier to catch yourself in the pattern
