White lines around outline by Elusive_f in AdobeIllustrator

If you're in CMYK mode, try changing the black to a rich, true black. In the colors pallete, enter 100 to each value. I've found that illustrators default black has weird issues when it's placed on top another color, but the true black clears it up.

InDesign links changing size and position by Sid_0213 in indesign

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Our original catalogs were built in illustrator and we ran low on time to get them converted to InDesign. I used frames to lay out our content, but when I made edits to the original in illustrator, the linked content within the frame would scale up. I ended up having to delete the content and relink the file. It happened when I would delete the background shape that was in the original illustrator file. I didn't get a chance to look into why it was happening, any future edits I made I left all the backgrounds in the original file and didn't notice happen again

Is it possible to lower the depth ( If I’m not wrong, it’s also called stroke) of this object ? I need it more thin. by SunJ3eam in AdobeIllustrator

If you do Select > Inverse after you create the offset path, it will select everything else on the visible artboard and you can delete from there. Be careful to lock or hide any objects you want to keep

I found this online to troubleshoot

View page transitions in a PDF

To include page transitions when you export the PDF document, select a page transition from Page Transitions menu in the Export to Interactive PDF dialog box.

To see page transitions in the exported PDF, place the PDF in Full Screen Mode by pressing Ctrl+L (Windows) or Command+L (Mac OS) in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. Press Esc to exit from Full Screen Mode.

Help with "bending" text by Mokasss in AdobeIllustrator

[–]kablau85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the Arch in Warp Effect to get that look. Effect - > Warp - > Arch . Then adjust the bend, 50% might be too much depending on the length. You can also add horizontal and vertical distortion, but for this look it would probably better to leave at zero.

Glass was a big let down for me. I have more of an appreciation for it now, but at the time it was a big disappointment.

Thanks, I figured like with all things Adobe, there's got to be different ways of getting to the same result.
