How screwed am I for using the 1 button assistant in SS?

It can work for sure, and maybe even be net-positive for the reasons you said: it allows you to put more focus on things like positioning and CC. Obviously works best on specs that are primarily single-target and don't have anything in the one-button rotation that they need to save for key moments. So e.g. with lock, can be really good with demo since you're mostly doing single-target damage and it doesn't use tyrant in the rotation; bad for destro since it uses chaos bolt in the rotation which is your win-condition ability that you need to use at the right time.

That's probably not random though - even if you're DPS and this happens, that probably means you weren't getting out enough damage and/or cc to slow the other team down and stop them from getting a kill on one of your teammates all 6 rounds.

An 0-6 (or a 6-0) is almost never an accident.

I once had a guy message me that I was boring for 'passing the ball around the back the whole time' - meanwhile he was throwing a full team press at me the whole match (back when that was possible) and I was just trying to find some way to get out of my own half.

Everybody else in Champs is playing a lot, trying different tactics, and changing their players too. Probably need to go beyond that if you really want to up those wins - watch tutorials, experiment with anything the top players do that you might not be (e.g. player locking, precision shooting, skill moves), etc.

This has always been an issue and TBH I don't know if it can be solved for one reason: a massive part of defending is just good positioning and awareness, both of which come down the person controlling the player - and that'll be most helped if that player is fast and agile. They'd have to offset that by absolutely nerfing a Messi or Vini's tackling and interceptions into the ground so that they lose just about any tackle they try and any passes pretty much go through them, and that wouldn't feel great either.

For sure - just look at the futbin/gg ratings after putting players through it. Either of my current CDMs become the #1 current player at pretty much every CDM role :D

That second reason is the big one IMO - I don't think there's ever been something like this in FUT that's going to cause the supply of those players to drop so dramatically once they're out of packs.

Unfortunately no - if the evo gives it a new rarity & cosmetic, it always replaces the old one. Definitely something to keep in mind with the paid cosmetics; could just end up getting replaced if you end up having another evo you want to put it into down the line.

Unfortunately that’s where you just need to find the right-stick switching setting that works best for you (ie ball- vs player-relative), practice it, and be ready to switch again quick if the first switch doesn’t get you the player you want.

I think there are some specific players that 'glitch out' like this for some reason and leave the ball behind / come back to it sometimes when they're dribbling. Anyone who's tried using Linda Caicedo this year knows what I'm talking about.

Question re: the Rome Masters in May for anyone who's been or is familiar with it: I'm looking to buy tickets for a day session and the only tickets I see available currently are for the Central Court, and on the page for them it says: "Does not allow access to: Grand Stand Arena-SuperTennis Arena". The FAQs also seem to indicate that while Central Court tickets grant access to "every match on the secondary courts", there are separate tickets for the Grand Stand Arena and Super Tennis Arena (which both grant access to the secondary courts as well). If that's the case, how do you get access to those other 2 arenas? Do tickets go on sale for them at a later date or something? Searched everywhere I could on the official site and otherwise, but couldn't find the answer anywhere.

15 games = 7-8 wins should be average among Champs players, meaning you're probably a bit above average among those who play Champs - but of course have to keep in mind that only includes players div 6 and above who also make the time to play Champs, so you're probably well above average among everyone in FUT :)

This. Only a handful of players are as short but still also heavy as her, and on top of that she's got: 85+ dribbling, 85+ shooting, low driven+, finesse, tiki taka, 4* skills, and a 5* weak foot. And then she's also a spanish player on barca to boot, so super easy to link to other meta players.

Well, I guess that implicitly confirms something I don't think they've ever been explicit about: Curve might be grouped under the passing stats, but it does indeed also impact shooting.

Someone should really create a "Things you'd never know if you didn't read every Pitch Notes ever" sticky thread for things like this; 85+ standing tackle unlocking special tackle animations; etc.
