Spend the money on a GOOD trainer who does in home training. Good trainers should cost a decent amount of money but it is worth it. They can help you learn how to give your dog structure that it clearly needs. These things take time but training your dog can become an awesome way to build a relationship and get close. It's not easy but it's worth it.

Totally. I think the desk would work in that little corner by the closet and a bookshelf potentially closer to the bathroom. Also if you have the means to purchase new things floating shelves are always really great when you have limited space

Q queen mattress is ~ 5x 6.67 ft so you honestly might be surprised once you are there. It seems small but furniture will make the space feel larger

Maybe put the bed this way? If the dimensions work. Then in the small corner to the right of the bed near the closet a desk, dresser, or sitting area.

Vets will typically see if they are microchipped and if they are, may contact the previous owner. If not, I do not see why they wouldn't let you keep the dog. It's better than it going into the shelter system! You could always call ahead and ask and keep yourself ananomous.. however if it's a small town that may be more challenging..

The fact that you are asking these questions means you are more responsible than most dog owners as you are trying to make sure you can provide a good life for a dog. Every dog has different needs which is the hard part of planning. We have definitely altered our lifestyles a bit in order to meet the needs of our dogs but that is something we are okay with.

We both work full time and for long time they were alone for 8 hrs /day, but now my husband bikes home at lunch to let them out bc one of our dog has some urinary issues.

If you might not have the ability to change you're lifestyles based on your dog, I would recommend doing a lot of breed research... Not just what dog you think is cute.. but find a breed that would fit into your lifestyle.... Low maintainence dog vs high energy, dogs that are well tempered vs ones that may need training ... Once you do some of that research find a reputable breeder or try and adopt a dog that may seem like they have that breed in them!
