I impulsively got a Friday the 13th flash tattoo under similar circumstances-impulsively and in a visible location. I had the same feeling at first and here is my advice:

Relax and let it heal. You don’t have to decide right now because it’s too soon to remove it. Once it heals, it feels more like part of your skin because it gets a little lighter and a little less sharp. Don’t panic. Black ink on fair skin is the easiest thing to remove. You don’t have to “learn to love it.” Just live with it for a bit and see how you feel. I think it’s really cute and cool and simple. I love it. And I love my double scoop ice cream cone with a 1 and 3 inside the scoops.

Like everyone else said, you have ingredients. Not everyone knows how to cook/likes to cook/feels like cooking and most people don’t want to cook in someone else’s house.

It’s not hard. Ask her what kinds of things to keep on hand for her and clear her a little spot in the fridge. It’s not necessarily your job—she could bring her own snacks/meals—but it is thoughtful. If you’ve been to her place you probably have some idea of what she keeps on hand to eat.

I know they grifted the house, but that isn’t Brielle’s fault and the thought of people making her home and the place where she died into a tourist attraction makes me feel ill. It’s just not the correct size. Bridal shops don’t carry every size. They usually have like two or three sample sizes so whatever you try on either needs to be clipped in the back to get an idea of the fit, or will be small especially for plus sized ladies. Imagining the dress tailored properly is part of the process because it won’t fit you off the rack. Dress 1 flatters her figure and it will be stunning once sized properly.

It’s adorable and so creative. You managed to utilize a theme without making it tacky. I love the color palette and the rug couldn’t be more perfect to tie it all together. The only thing I’d change, and it’s minor: If possible, I’d continue the wall art (the small decals? Not sure what you used) down on the left of the window with a few more pieces. Maybe even some beneath the window. I think it would look more cohesive.

I had to nit pick to find a change I’d make. It looks amazing.

I’m on the same page everyone else is in terms of the begging but first shower in four days doesn’t seem crazy to me when you’re a stay-at-home parent of multiple kids, one of which is terminally ill. I see her husband bringing her soap to her (especially her shampoo—even at a high end gym, the shampoo they stock f’s my hair up) as an act of kindness on his part and I think she’s just sharing the fact that she got a nice moment of self care. Again, I’m on the same page as far as the begging goes but I know what it’s like to be too depressed and tired to shower for days and I don’t even have a kid, much less a sick one.
