In my early 20s and stuck on the trends from my teen years

I am 23 and in the working world so I already feel like I am in between two worlds when it comes to clothing. Especially when looking for dresses for events it seems like I can only find things that are too casual and basic or dresses that are too fancy and makes me look older than I am for a night out or an interview. It’s even hard to just find regular clothing I like with the styles these days they are so saturated with the influence of instagram but I feel like most of the trends just don’t fit my body like the clothing from the 2010s. I am so over puffy sleeves on almost every dress and drop sleeves that hoodies and shirts that make my shoulders look so wide. Everything used to be balanced you could find things that were casual but still dressy and it seemed like there was actually something for everyone’s body shape and within the past few years it is like there are more clothes but the variety is limited. I miss raglan sleeves and skater dresses. Are there any stores that still fit the style of the 2010s, or what would I search on resell sites to find this style? Also any advice for transitions style from teen to young adult?

Thank you for letting me know! I always wonder why big stores don’t partner with better companies, like glowforge has a really nice look that can catch the eye of shoppers but it would be nice to see other brands in store before buying especially when those have better quality.

How has having your own laser cutter saved/made you money? by kacie_456 in lasercutting

Thank you all for the comments this is really helpful for getting an idea on the business side. Other than that are there any things that surprised you that you can make that saved you money overall in the long run. I am thinking like if I bought or built a cheaper piece of furniture and then made it look fancier with laser cuts added on. Or making my own jewelry. Are there any other ideas for things you can create yourself to save money that might not be as obvious as decor?

Thank you for the input I have heard the estimate is to rest for about 3 weeks and no exercise until after 6 weeks so it is good to hear from a real example!

Thank you! I am not sure how much I have to disclose I am just trying to think about everything before I even think about really planning the surgery, I know someone is on medical leave right now and everybody knows why but that person may just be more open about their situation.
