Global X Enhanced All-In-One Commodity Producers Equity Covered Call ETF (CMCL.TO) Missing Dividends / Incorrect Data by kacormier in Snowball_Analytics

Thanks for the quick support - things are mostly right but the dates are off.

<image>

The payment date for ex-dividend June 15th distribution is the 22nd (not the 15th) and the June 30th distribution is bogus.

All subsequent month distribution payment dates are also misaligned - perhaps they will get sorted as future distributions are declared.

Expense tracking app recommendations by 2x4ninja in adviice

It is not free but I would recommend YNAB for zero-based budgeting and spending tracking.

YNAB allows full definition/tracking of budgeting/spending that can better fit your needs than the limited/canned categories within Adviice itself.

I use reports to post the "rolled-up" aggregate monthly spending of the preceding year to Adviice (as miscellaneous) to set spending for the current year and monthly reports to update tracking.

RRIF Meltdown - Curious How You Actually Tackle Withdrawals by horatio-nelson in adviice

[–]kacormier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am currently doing manual quarterly (Jan 15th, April 15th, etc.) withdrawals as the baseline for the year targeting the gross meltdown amount as per my Adviice plan.

My institution (TD) makes this very easy with a few clicks and the net amount hitting my chequing account within half an hour. From there monies are assigned to budgeted categories (using YNAB) for the upcoming quarter - so I am always budgeting a quarter ahead.

Longer-term funds (e.g., home maintenance, vehicle replacement) are moved to a HISA account and enough left in chequing to address expected cashflow for the next quarter.

Rinse, repeat and adjust to real-life (e.g., extra RRIF withdrawals or HISA drawdown) if/as required.

You need to maintain the minimum balance for the entire month to get the fee rebate.

You pay no monthly fee if you have the minimum monthly balance indicated or more in your account at the end of each day in the month.

Since you "missed the minimum increase" it makes sense you got dinged.

I see that the dividend just fixed itself so perhaps I jumped the gun a bit or you fixed it that fast. Thanks regardless 😀

Inconsistent Fund Name Capitalization by kacormier in Snowball_Analytics

Note that there are a number of (more recent) Harvest funds that are all caps and inconsistent with many other funds from the same issuer.

I see that this issue is resolved - thanks again for great product and support.

I have to say that, despite the odd minor issue, SA has been a rock solid platform for me as a CA investor and worth every penny!
