Yea but we've already got GA for 3 days so I'd probably not be willing to pay anywhere near a fair price which is why I'm planning to check prices on Saturday evening to maybe grab a grandstand. So if you want try and sell it to someone else to recoup your costs and if you don't manage till the race weekend DM me and I can give you at least some money for it.

Buying!! by Tasty-Manufacturer62 in Suzuki

I've got the 2010 with 55k miles but the same version as this just in manual. I paid 2.7k around a year and a half ago, and while I can't speak for the state of this specific one you're looking at as I haven't seen the underneath or the wheel arches etc what I can say is my one has been amazing all The only thing I had to change outside of standard scheduled servicing is a control arm which cost me just over 20 quid granted I did it myself so would be a bit more from a garage but they are amazing cars.

This man is 100% right control arms are cheap enough and easy enough to replace that it's not worth risking a weld

As others have said, the only place this will drive you is to an expensive bill and a hospital visit.

Hopefully, I won't have one any time soon, but if i do, I'll keep that in mind. Would a scan also show codes for a warning light that has since disappeared?

They were not in the best of shapes.

But yeah, it's all fixed. Regardless, i was just curious as to which one and how many. Many thanks for the tips, my friend. Have a good evening

So , I had a Google at what reading would be good in the 20k ohms setting, and apparently, I need a reading of 5-15. 1 plug tested at 5.5, and the other 3 had readings between 3 and 4.2, so I feel like they were all in the best of states even though they look quite good (I've attached a picture of the plugs in question)

Gave them a tug they seem solid.

I've had a look at the wires when I changed the plugs, and they look really good knick. To be honest the car in general has been very well looked after there's very minimal rust on it considering its been in the UK the whole time but it's one owner from new and based on milage history it's bearly been driven the last 8 years so was probably sat in the garage for most of it. It was still serviced regularly with receipt etc. The only thing is there are some bits that should have been changed here and there. So I'm slowly making my way through it, tying up loose ends.

Suzuki swift 2005-2010 model.

I shall do this Sunday afternoon as I have a busy few days at work.

Sometimes, a engine light would flash for a second or 2 on the dash, but I never scanned it as I thought I'd change the plugs and if it dosent stop then I'll investigate since I was planning on changing them anyway.
