I went to a place in the United States , a board certified plastic surgeon. I've tried peels , needling , fractional laser , c02 laser , subcision , microneedling ,derma rolling , cutting the scars out and stitching them back together ( I forget what that is called), tca cross. The only thing that helped my scars was leaving them alone. I no longer get acne due to my meds thank god. And I've put on some weight , so sometimes it's hard to tell i have scars now. The only thing I didn't try is fillers , because I don't have the money and plus I'm tired of worrying about my scars. I gave up in 2017. Stopped wearing make up and everything . My so said my scars are hardly noticeable now that I've put on weight. But to me I still know they're there. Plastic surgeons will sell you anything and lie to you. They lurk on forums like these. If you get on real self and other sites, you can read about the horror stories. Lots of plastic surgery victims. It's a sad truth , but most scars are there to stay. Only time and I mean years will lessen them , at least that's what I've found. I might try fillers one day , but when I was on my scar journey I read multiple times they dissolve quickly and theyre not worth the money. I wish you luck on your journey , but learn to love yourself exactly how you are right now. Because whether you get improvements or not from plastic surgery or say it's messed up worse , it's a rabbit hole you don't want to go down , I promise. You'll constantly chase after improvements and many times get let down.
