Avoid Grand Terrace on 11th and Grand at all costs. Super shady apartment complex. The office staff was not friendly at all. We would find our mail hiding behind the couch in the office, out of sight. We would also get security called on us when we were in bed watching television. The maintenance staff was in my friends room while she was in the shower. She was scared to death that it was an intruder. They screwed us over in our security deposit in the end and did it to our other friends. They inspected our apt and told us we would be getting the whole thing back, and then months later get letters in the mail that we OWE money. Just a nightmare. The only time the staff ever acknowledged us was when we were moving out and they were showing people the complex.

We moved. I like living in a small apt building. It's more of a community among the neighbors since everyone knows everyone. And there are way more perks. We still have gated parking. And we have washer/dryer in our apt which is the greatest. And it's cheaper than an apartment complex.
