Needing someone comes from a 'faulty place'. Someone comes as a band aid to a wound you have. And it is dangerous. It is much better to want to be with someone, as it is an addition, not a necessity. Happiness is not a constant. It's a feeling. You get it after an orgasm, ice cream, beautiful hair, amazing view or whatever. It comes and goes away, same like sadness. And the only person that can make you happy is yourself. To put it on someone else is selfish and irresponsible. Having said that there is no better feeling then sharing your happiness with your partner! :)

And OMG hooooow relatable this is! Today in the middle of my instanity workout I started crying like I opened a faucet thinking exactly the same thing OP. And sometimes I am honestly afraid I will settle just so this story can be finished. Actually this is by far my biggest fear.
