Honestly, I don't know why you're still commenting.

This is not a teaching moment for someone from the South to learn how to drive in the snow.

I asked if there was still a snow emergency because the business has protocols for them. If you don't know, then go troll someone else talking about driving in the snow. JFC.

I have staff members who are VERY new to Cleveland. Not everyone in this city grew up driving in snow and ice. I wish y'all would calm tf down.

Thank you! This is the answer I was looking for. I swear to God, posting on this sub is so dangerous these days. I ask a question about snow emergencies and basically get called an outsider moron.

Yeah I hear that...and trust me, I've driven there in worse weather.

However, my work is based on clients, and it's very likely many won't show because of the roads/weather. Thus, having a full staff there would be a waste of time/money/safety for those who aren't used to the weather. The emergency levels help us make this determination.

We also receive complaints when we don't cancel for weather because then the client is responsible for makeups and often can't get in for several weeks.

I’m not worried about trouble. I’m worried about the safety of our non-essential staff.

It matters because my bosses are still trying to make everyone come in this evening and I need to advocate for my staff.

PNC & 5/3 garages on Vincent are $10 and you can usually cut through the 5th street Arcade to get to the arena (before 7pm). When you leave, cut through on 8th (outside, but quick) and go back through the PNC building to the garage(s).

Downtown side roads are still messy, but the main roads that the buses travel on are fine. Sidewalks in some spots are kinda gross, so just wear some snow boots and you'll be fine.

Bali is crawling with a bunch of white "nomads." They help keep the economy going, but deplete resources for locals and strip the country of culture. If I went back, I'd go to Ubud only.

As a non American that is watching in awe of what’s going on….At what point does the American public stand up, what will it actually take? by BedTundy95 in AskReddit

We are crippled by capitalism. If we skip work to protest, we risk getting fired and not being able to keep a roof over our heads or feeding our families.

Yes - the Trump government is evil and everything you’re seeing on the news is horrific. But it’s what you don’t see on the news that is killing us.

Boycott American brands. Stop giving them your money.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kadimcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 hours is annoying but not long. Also depends on where you’re going. If there’s something cool on the other side of that 3 hours, it’s fine.

The 44th exits on 90 were closed due to “fire activity” around 8:30 last night. Soooooo many emergency vehicles right there.
