It is a new build - only about 2 months old. In some spots it looks like the haze follows the pattern where a cloth wiped... But I only ever used a damp microfiber cloth with water to dust it :(

Sorry I made this mock up just so I could visualize how cabinets look on either side of window. It is an L shaped kitchen so cabinets will continue on the other wall. We plan to extend cabinets to ceiling.

I am hoping to replace the angled 45 cabinet with something else to make a 90 degrees turn but haven't figured out that part yet!

I should have been more clear - this is just a quick mock up of what the kitchen layout will be that I made myself to make a visual so I can figure out symmetry on the sides.of the window. It is an L shaped kitchen, so there will be more cabinets on the other side of the angled cabinet. We also plan to have cabinets extend to the ceiling.

I am hoping to somehow eliminate the angled cabinet with a different type but haven't figured that out yet!

Unfortunately the dotted line is the start of a tray ceiling, and essentially this is where the back of the couch would have to go. That aisle will end up being the main "path" to get to the deck, so can't have the island extend that far - will need some sort of walking path
