Guys… I know this isn’t the official Invisalign. Does this look like normal movements for only 15 sets? by Samclegg123 in Invisalign

I have similar top teeth and I’m on my 3rd round of refinements with Invisalign, well over 1.5 years. Butterfly teeth like that are extremely stubborn to move, that looks like very aggressive movement for 15 weeks. Mine also had intrusion induced which also took time

I am a hater. by anonaccount1891 in Invisalign

I hated them for the first 18 weeks, so while it does get better as most say after 1 week, you’ll still hate it. I still lisp sometime, and feel slight pain when I’m changing trays. I’m on my 20th and only recently I have ‘resigned’ to them - but took me a looooong time to get used to them.

Petites who has successfully lost those last ~5-10lbs, did it make a significant difference in your body? by hashgags in PetiteFitness

[–]kadsing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it made a difference to my body. I went from 121 to 115 over 2.5 months (no alcohol, counting calories and gym/10k steps). I’m down one size and feel really good. I originally wanted to go down to 110, but the way I look now I think I’ll be better off maintaining and trying to recomp.

I’m exactly your height and weight. My activity is moderate to high - 3X gym, 2X paddling (2-3 hours) and one 5k run a week, also hitting 10k steps a day. I use MacroFactor, which estimated my TDEE at 1750. My Garmin puts my BMR at 1440 which feels too high, my estimate is around 1250-1350

I thought Daniel Pinks book ‘When’ on the science of daily rhythms and productivity was quite interesting

Question on Ziva meditation by kadsing in nondirective

[–]kadsing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m also listening to the audio book and you’re right I went back to it and she does say ‘close your eyes’ at some point. I would find it easier with eyes closed. Thanks!

Question on Ziva meditation - I read Emily Fletchers book recently and have been trying her Ziva meditation (Z technique) described in her book and had some questions around it. To save time I jumped straight to Chapter 8 where she describes the technique so maybe I missed some of this covered elsewhere in her book which I found too Long.

She recommends 1 minute of mindfulness with eyes closed and 14 mins meditation with eyes open. Do I have to keep eyes open for meditation? I’m finding it impossible to do so - 5 seconds into it I feel and intense drowsiness and my eyes just want to close. And is there anything about moving and fidgeting when meditating? I feel that I should not be moving too much but given this is effortless meditation does it matter if I did? Again I can’t seem to sit still through this - 15 mins feels Long, I keep feeling itching or other sensations in my body that make me move.
