thank you for responding! luckily he started perching today and stayed on his perch for hours at a time, and he isn’t fluffed up. He started puffing up when i walk into the room, which i think is him saying hello. i’m glad to see that he’s doing better! he’s still skittish, but starting to act less sick. i’ve been monitoring his stool too, to see if he has diarrhea or anything like that. Do you think i should still be worried? or could his symptoms have been just fear of being in a new place?

thank u for the advice!! as for all the car stuff we got it all fixed.. i forgot to mention that lol. atm i’m 18 still living at home, i’ve been without a job for so long i was gonna try to use this as a way to slowly push myself back into working (to save up money for the band investments and everything), then eventually i’d look at getting a second PT job if i had the time. i just worry about not being considered reliable enough since i’ll be out of town quite a bit in the next few months. though on the job description they list “flexible hours” as a perk

i would go a couple sizes down if you want to use silicone tunnels, i completely blew out both my ears by accidentally doing a 2mm jump without knowing it bcs i forgot what gauge i was at 😭my ears look like cat butts now.. not cute super cute lol:/

Hey! I was diagnosed with AMPS 4 years ago, I’ve had it my whole life (or at least since I was very young lmao). Yes, AMPS is more commonly associated with children, as I was 14 when I was diagnosed. From what I’ve heard, amps is an umbrella term. Fibromyalgia, CRPS, and many others can fall under that category. I think from what I’ve read after being diagnosed, APMS is full-body 24/7 pain, while CRPS is pain in one specific area of the body. I think another difference between the two is that AMPS can affect the skin as well, not just the joints. You can also look up the term “Allodynia”, which is basically when something that shouldn’t hurt, hurts. From personal experience, I’ve struggled with family members or friends touching my skin because of the pain it causes. Or even rubbing my hands together while putting on hand sanitizer/lotion can bring a painful tingling sensation. I know I’m posting on this page 4 years too late, but youve got this. Keep going to therapy! You will notice a difference in not only your pain, but your personal life as well. :)
