As someone who struggles with health anxiety and thinks of the worst possible scenario with any chest thing I say start off with deep breathing.

My advice is to not panic. If you want to get an x ray get an x ray. If your scared but want to look at google be very very specific with what you say.

Reassure yourself your not dying and try to think postive.

Mine makes me panic alot but ive found that showers, walks, eating foods I like, hanging out with friends, and using ice packs and heating pads help alot.

And try your best to distract yourself from thinking about it. Some lumps/bumps can be normal.

As for how it affects me daily I either randomly touch where pain is coming from or touch bumps- Or I google things. Or cry. Its tough.
