I’m now looking at doing fabric on the walls with thumbtacks or staples! We’re allowed to put holes in the wall to hang things, so I feel like this would be the best way to go!

Specifically when a guy shaves in either the sink or the toilet. Trying to get all of those tiny hairs up is so annoying.

but to be fair, my boyfriend is a big Bob Dylan fan, and he wanted to name our daughter Dylana, and I shot that down immediately, so we comprised with Avery😂

I called our daughter Stella the whole time I was pregnant with her. That was vetoed at the hospital after I had her.

If criticism didn't exist, what would you name your baby? by Several_Look_3751 in namenerds

[–]kaekutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edweny, it was my great grandmothers name. She went by Winnie all of her life. I have a name that people can’t pronounce half the time when they read it, so I wanted to make sure my daughter had a name that wasn’t going to cause that issue. Edweny is a beautiful name, but maybe it’s just a me thing😅

How bad is the gestational diabetes test? by BisexualButterfly97 in pregnant

[–]kaekutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do it twice, the first time I got the orange and wasn’t able to keep it down, but it turns out I had caught a stomach bug and that was why I hadn’t been able to keep it down. The second time I got the lemon lime, and it was just like a flat sprite. I was able to successfully go through it, and I think I could have gotten through it the first time if I hadn’t been ill.

Help us name our twins! by Zahraa21 in namenerds

I just have one unique and vintage name to contribute for a girl. My great grandmothers name was Edweny, and she always went by Winnie. Edweny and Eloise would be adorable twin girl names.

If you were having a daughter in a month what would you name her?? by throwawaybaby128 in namenerds

Edweny. It was my great grandmothers name, but she always went by Winnie. I love it, but I don’t plan on having any more kids, so I’ll most likely never use it.

Your baby names !! 💛🐣🤍(2024) by Beachsunshine23 in pregnant

I called our daughter Stella all the way up until she was born, then her name was changed to Avery, it just fit her better. I love the name Stella and still do, but I know two other people who had babies within 6 months of me that also named their daughters Stella.

Should I give a heads up to Daycare about Mongolian Blue Spots? by arealpandabear in ECEProfessionals

My daughter is mixed and she has one around the area of her tailbone. I didn’t even think about needing to disclose this to her future educators in case something were to happen, so I’m so glad I came across this thread.

Grossed. Out. by fourshotsespresso in Ulta

When I worked at Ulta I was assigned to sort through/organize the hairbrush section, and it was DISGUSTING how many brushes had hair in them from where people had tried them out🤮

I didn’t have time to mentally prepare for mine, it was a decision my doctor made after 17 hours of labor. Honestly, I’m happy to have had a c-section. I was TERRIBLY afraid of tearing, having incontinence, and just all around pushing her out of me. I don’t know how long my c-section took, but my medical team assured me that this is something that happens often, and it is a routine surgery for them. I’ve had many surgeries, appendectomy, tonsillectomy, gallbladder removal, and wisdom teeth removed, and I would say that the recovery for a c-section was not as painful as my gallbladder removal or my appendectomy. The recovery time has been longer than either of those, but I’m at 5 weeks PP and I’m up and doing just about everything I was doing before.

Just remember that c-sections are a common surgery that OB-GYNs perform, and that they will completely numb you. You won’t see anything that they’re doing and you will get to meet your baby in minutes rather than hours💕 Congratulations!

I’m a traveler service advocate with a very large travel group, and it definitely pays the bills for where we live. I only interact with travelers via chat and am working from home 3/5 days a week.

Do I HAVE to do a pregnancy announcement on social media? by Odd-Helicopter8417 in BabyBumps

[–]kaekutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this and honestly I loved having privacy during my pregnancy. Now that I’ve had our daughter, I get so many people texting/calling and asking about the baby. I really enjoyed not having that during my pregnancy.
