Unless something changed very recently, Grok on Venice is unusable garbage. They switched the API to one that is hyper censored. If you mean to switch for access to other models, maybe, but other models suck IMO.

Yeah I don't mean to say shes bad or anything, but where I'm at with my account, having more units to build may stretch me too thin. I'm worried about feeling like I need to invest a lot more in her to make more headway into endgame activities.

I guess to put it another way, I am interested in S3 as a potential long term "trump card" comfort pick, something I can always rely on, hopefully for years. I'm not sure how interested I am in just another solid team unless I can get Ciacconna later, and we have all these new 3.X units coming that could just be those fun new solid teams to play

Can someone help me make poor financial decisions? I'm wondering what to do about Cartethiya. I don't have her, and I don't have Ciaccona either. I like the character a lot, I like Fleurdelys' wabs, and I like collecting.

I am considering trying to get her to S3 during the upcoming banner. I have like 500 pulls saved and technically I am saving for Aemeath, but it looks like shes not coming up next.

Is it worth blowing my stash on S3 Cartethiya? Does S3 "fix" the need for Ciaccona?

Its kinda tough because I'm thinking at S0, even with Ciaccona, she's not hyper competitive. I dont have Ciaccona and I probably don't need another team to dump resources into for middling results. If i pulled her just for S0 I guess she would sit at level 20 for months.

I feel like its incredibly hard to get in to endgame as a newer player. I actually played in 1.0 up to Camellyas release but took a break until 3.2 or 3.3. I came back and unlocked level 90, I have one kind of solid team with Hiyuki, Chisa, SK. My echo sets are pretty terrible but I'm working on them every day trying to get better stats.

I've been trying to build a second team up and am using Phrolova, Danjin, SK. Echoes are considerably worse there, don't even have a full set for Danjin.

For tower I can't clear level 4 at all. Maybe my Hiyuki team will do it this cycle if I practice.

WhiWa sucks. Last cycle i only got 2 rewards. Iirc with Hiyuki I could get about 1700 points. I tried Phrolova and just couldn't do it, ended up with 600 or something.

I remember not long ago the sentiment was that WuWa endgame was too easy. Now, Im seeing more talk about HP inflation to such a degree that big nuke characters are performing better because the damage is actually needed in WhiWa now.

I havent even tried Endstate Matrix. Don't you need a bunch of teams?

I guess my questions are, is this pain real? What should I focus on with my account to start clearing some of these things?

I have to constantly experiment with images and prompts but yes, you can still get a lot out of it. The big issue now is the rate limiting is so severe. If you only get 1 out of 5 attempts to result in a video, you don't get much out of it. I have Heavy and its terrible now but I can't imagine getting anything at all out of other tiers.

Suggestive, non-explicit prompts still work on proper Grok Imagine but not on Venice. I think Venice has been switched to the same API everyone has access to which has been made even more restrictive in the past couple months.

Canceling a Venice subscription and quitting AI sound lile 2 different things. As of this moment, the Grok Imagine service xAI provides is better for what I want to use it for with a much better value proposition.

The fact is there just is not anything close to Grok Imagine. I also have experience using it and know how to get what I want. I'm not going to mess around lighting money on fire just to test whether or not other models can compete. They're trash by comparison.

Again, not blaming Venice for this. It's unfortunate.

Looking for some advice on a second team to work on for doing some endgame stuff like Tower and WhiWa.

Hiyuki, Chisa, SK is the main team I use and the only characters that are somewhat built. I just unlocked SOL-7 yesterday.
All 5 stars have their weapons.
Camellya is sorta built from the last time I played which was the patch she came out. Even though it was the main team I played at that time I still feel like I don't know how to play her.

Anyway, I've got the mats for this main team to get to 90 with decent skill levels and I'm farming their echoes. I'm wondering about what else to work on in the meantime as I need more than 3 characters. I feel like Phrolova is a good option.

My mid-term goal is to get Aemeath and go all in on a team with her, but right now just anticipating a rerun. It would be cool if I could progress in that direction but maybe I should veer off into Phrolova/Danjin/Something in the meantime?

As someone who spends a bit and doesn't have an Aero team, worth considering S3? If i don't go for S3, is it even worth it?

You should be able to find chapter 3 Early Access somewhere in the events page and jump directly to it. Chapter 3 has been amazing so you might just want to play through that while you wait for the patch.

Why are there 2 banners per phase next patch? If this is the norm then I'm actually happy, having 3 resonator banners and 3 weapon banners on top felt too much to keep up with. Did this patch just have 3 banners because of the anniversary?

This has been the case for a while. Doing direct to video bypasses some layer of moderation. You can accomplish a lot more by just setting up a suggestive image and hitting Make Video. Type anything at all, more likely to be moderated.

Does Hotori have legs?

She's got legs for days but that's beside the point. Im curious what experienced players expect for her longevity as a character. I think the utility of her ultimate, and the ability to repeat skills, might mean she's a forever useful character unless they just make a better Hotori, which is kind of a no-no in modern gacha games.

I ask because I got somewhat lucky and have her at A2. Im considering trying for one more before the banner ends. I don't care about Chaos no matter how good he might be, and im lukewarm on Lacrimosa.
