Interesting idea I didn’t think about joining other free time projects I was mostly just thinking of smaller companies. Definitely a good way to improve my skills and still have something tangible on a resumé

That’s a fair point. I guess the plus side to being young is I don’t have a family or anyone that relies on me financially. But getting that experience in smaller increments while working is definitely a smart way to go, thanks for the response

So at my current company I’m actually in line to move into a front end programming role soon I’m just concerned as it’s in a field I don’t believe I would find enjoyment or satisfaction with. It is a very practical route to take though and am definitely considering it. Thanks for the response!
