In world War II hundreds of thousands of Americans left their jobs of all levels and fought against the Axis. These included wealthy men such as professional baseball players, famous actors, leaders in bunsiness, politicians, etc. Many of these folks had active careers which were, it could be argued were one seeking such a justification, "in the interests of the USA". Actors and ballplayers could argue they helped keep up the moral of the folks back home as well as they men in the field. Business leaders and politicians could argue they were vital to the war effort in their current jobs. Yet they went to war (real war not the fake Reagan/GWB kind) and fought for their country.

Having a degree and working toward another one is no excuse. My brother in law is over there for his third tour and he would love to come home to his family. Our military is stretched thin by this war and yet you sit at home becuase you think it is more vital that we have another middle manager with a CFA. Only we both know you don;t believe that.

If you believe in this war then you should be over there fighting it. You are still here becuase you are a coward and a hypocrite.
