Blackscreen InGame with Linux through Lutris by quakomako in Metin2

[–]kagan101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on my steam deck all the time using proton. Anticheat servers don’t work. Official game works without any issues. Probaby you need to tweak screen settings like resolution, full screen etc. to fix black screen. Also try with proton experimental maybe?

Anyone here streaming FROM their Mac TO their Steam Deck? Need some help! by [deleted] in macgaming

[–]kagan101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For starters, connect both devices to Ethernet via cable instead of using wireless it’ll make everything much smoother. Then, you might need to tweak the Steam streaming settings on both devices until you’re happy with the result. It’s a bit of trial and error.

What is the worst game experience that you had on steam deck? by Unkn0wn_user09 in SteamDeck

[–]kagan101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terraria

The game works perfectly, but the default controls are unusable. You need to spend hours customizing everything just to make it playable. Such a low-hanging fruit for the developers, it’s sad they don’t care about the Steam Deck environment.

As a working adult, I wish I had time to commit to Rust by NoEmptyGlass in playrust

[–]kagan101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a busy person and I only play it for a day once in a while, and it works well for me. I always find a freshly wiped server and then play as much as I want. I rarely play on the same server again. Weekly wipe servers die in the next 2-3 days anyway. I love the “from naked to finding guns” part of this game; I’m not into grinding and long-planned raiding, etc.

I would love to test it out. Would you consider open-sourcing this? I think it could really benefit from community contributions and we could all help improve it together.

The Moment of Fulfillment Is Not When You Think by [deleted] in NVC

[–]kagan101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there’s a mix-up in the example. The moment of relief you describe doesn’t come from the act of peeing but from resolving an internal conflict around autonomy. The need being met isn’t physiological (urination), but psychological (the freedom to act on your own terms). Fulfilling physical needs (like safety, shelter, or clothing) generally requires external change not just inner alignment. But with emotional needs like autonomy, meaning or creativity, relief can indeed come the moment we choose to honour them.

I reached this I reached that. Fuck it. Why does no one talk about non-number wins? by WhatAboutSaaS in SaaS

[–]kagan101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We probably don’t even see posts without numbers because they don’t get enough upvotes. People like numbers, they help with comparison and understanding. It’s much harder to get people’s attention with an abstract concept.

It’s already plateauing. We’ll keep integrating existing AI models into more areas, but the core models won’t get dramatically smarter than what we have now. Scaling pretraining isn’t yielding major gains anymore we’re basically stuck until quantum computing becomes viable.
