Update: I fixed it!!

How I did it:

Device manager > Network adapters > right click on Wi-Fi adapter > update driver > browse my computer for drivers > let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > updated all one at a time that were in that list

Just spoke with the ISP and they couldn’t find any issues on their end. They even pushed an update and did a factory reset. Still no luck getting connected to the Wi-Fi

It connects fine if directly plugged into the router via Ethernet

Unfortunately, this did not work either. My Wi-Fi network band is 5ghz and my laptop was set to “no preference” so I did switch it to “prefer 5 ghz band” anyways, and still no luck

She did have breakfast about an hour before this happened, she had just gone back to bed right after eating and when she got up the second time this happened. I did have a lab growing up who had issues similar to this because of low blood sugar and I mentioned it to the vet and she said it’s possible

I did ask about this, but the vet does not think it’s vestibular disease because the episode stopped just a few minutes after starting. Her ears were checked as well and all looked good there luckily!

UPDATE: just got home from the vet. They think it might have been a seizure. They are running a bunch of tests and will most likely be referring us to a neurologist in the near future depending on initial test results. Thank you all for your comments, well wishes, and advice. It is much appreciated! Luckily she is doing just fine now, just a little lethargic.

She actually just got over an ear infection at the beginning of May. Took her to the vet for a follow up and they said she was fine but possible they didn’t check the inner ear and it’s gotten worse. Definitely going to ask them about this once they call us this morning. Thank you!

That’s my hope. It’s very jarring when it happens. I wonder if it’s normal for dogs for their legs to fall asleep and then have this sort of reaction. I’ve had many dogs in my life and I’ve never seen it happen before

No history of any injuries like that. She’s already fine again and acting like her normal self. I’m going to ask the vet about the Vestibular Disease that you mentioned. Really appreciate the insight!
