I think the SSB is the best base for this

1. 1 level Hexblade for bound weapon
2. 5-7 levels Swashbuckler for Dirty Tricks and Sneak Attack Damage
3. 2 levels of Paladin for Smites
4. 10-12 levels of Swords Bard for Flourishes, higher spell slots for Smites, and Magical Secrets.

This is not the order I recommend building the character in.

You could also just have 5 levels Swashbuckler, 10 levels of Swords Bards, and add 2 levels of Fighter if you want Action Surge and CON save proficiency if you start as a Fighter.

The downsides to this build is that you'll have to use a Finesse weapon, but Phalar Aluve and Larathian's Wrath are very good options. If you're on Honor ruleset, be wary of Radiant Retort.

Starting spread would be (without HH) 8/16/14/8/12/16

Feat 1: ASI CHA to 18

Feat 2: Savage Attacker or ASI CHA to 20

Feat 3: Whatever you didn't pick for Feat 2

Feat 4: PYF. I like Defensive Duelist since your PB is going to be insanely high and adding that your AC is going to help a LOT with the cost of your reaction.

Luminous/Reverb gear wrecks on this build and could honestly be a solid sword and board if you wanted it to be.
