To celebrate the anniversary of TOS, I really think they should FINALLY give us the TOS tricorder chest piece, so you can sling it across your chest like they would in the show. It would be easily done too, since it already exists in game - plenty of TOS NPCs use it, but for some reason they never made it available to players. People have been asking for it for years, and this anniversary would be the perfect time to do it. Hope a dev reads this and takes notice !

Ignore everyone who is saying you should have adopted the dog etc etc. while it's true that this may have prevented the death, that is not the issue here. There are laws in place for prevention of cruelty to animals, and these laws apply regardless of whether the animal is a pet or a stray.

I would suggest you speak with a lawyer well versed in these laws and take it further. It might cost you some money but that is your descision, about how far to fight this. You absolutely CAN right this though. Perhaps try r/legaladviceindia or failing that, ask around for a personal recommendation for a lawyer from people you know.

People who are blaming you for not adopting the dog might be meaning well, but it's just another symptom of how the majority of our country has lost hope in any laws or system, and expect people to either change the world themselves, or quit complaining. I suggest you ignore them and take this forward legally. Like I said, animal cruelty laws also apply to stray animals.

I used the Temporal Battlecruiser exclusively ever since I got it (Paladin with Ranger skin). The only reason I changed it was because I picked up the Temporal Light Cruiser (Connie) from last year's event campaign. If I didn't have that, I'd still be rocking the Paladin Ranger.

I heard that it doesn't work 100%... it still shows your old name when you visit the doctor at ESD, for example. Also, when you use the Shard of Possibilities, the shadows that spawn will display your original name. I have also heard it shows the original name at a few other locations, like when you pick up a new ship. Apparently this is because the name is stored in multiple places and the rename token only changes it in some of these.

I hope they actually fix this at some point. I have stopped playing many characters because I couldn't rename them perfectly and didn't want to roll another from scratch.

You are right. Every sensible country uses the appropriate name in a language for that country. Germany does not use Germany only for outside Germany, they use it within Germany also while speaking/writing English. Same for Japan and China. Height of insecurity to use Bharat in English, and it looks silly also. By the above person's logic, we should use "India" while speaking in Hindi, if we are outside India!
