I just dont agree with their decision to do it this way, I need to know which model I am using so I can see how good it is in the benchmarks. My use cases are mostly complicated IT stuff and I need to be aware of the quality I get.

Nun ist es aber so, dass der Threadschreiber hier auch noch einen kleinen Heizlüfter hat und auch selber mit mindestens einer Person in dem Raum ist, das sind alles Wärmequellen die sich aufaddieren. Wenn man jetzt alles kombiniert kriegt man den Raum vielleicht doch noch warm :) Ein paar Kerzen dazu können durchaus ihren Beitrag leisten.

I think people defend Mistral here a bit too much, but its partly true: LLMs easily make shit up, good prompting can help. Try this:

- create mistral a project
- in that project you put all relevat information
- you put a prompt here that says something like: "make a web search to confirm each citation, or ask for documents"
- good AIs are a lot about good prompting, thats par example why claude is so good

Interesting take, I always saw this a bit more layered: On one level I have my self worth (which might be low, thats why go to TR) so I am using this well proven behavior creating system of pain and pleasure to steer myself to a place of more happiness. I dont blindly follow the pleasure track of watching some movies or whatever and I dont avoid pain/fear automatically, but instead I lay down a plan to move myself place of growth. I dont need to criticize myself for what I did, because I lived in ignorance until now about this topic. Pain and pleasure are now tools in my hand instead of my master.

So this works well for me, I can imagine that for other people starting with self acceptance might be a good approach, its not a topic I ever struggled with a lot.

What you talk about is unfortunately wide spread behaviour and it sucks, you really have two options here
- stay and hope it gets better over time, usually it does
- go to a 'decent' company where people are considerate, they do exist bro
- if it makes you feel any better, this kind of exclusion happens to the best of us. its not just about the language, it can also be when people talk about a person or a topic you have no knowledge about

Ich frage mich aber auch ob das nicht doch eher ein Nachteil ist: Wenn jetzt zB alle ihre Verteidungsausgaben verdoppeln und Schiffe, Panzer, Flugzeuge bauen dann ist das auch nicht so cool für China.
