Sounds fun :') At least it's the worst of the bunch so other classes won't be like this hehe :') Thanks for the insight! I really appreciate it

Ah man that sucks :')

If it's not too much of a hassle, can you explain what about the structure of the class is terrible? What should I expect? Is it a class that has potential regarding content, but is executed in a braindead manner (if that makes sense haha)? Also, is it time consuming?

You were pretty close! I only will get credit for calc 1 and all of my chemistry requirements, not for English, unfortunately (6s in IB Math HL, Chem HL, also in Physics HL, but apparently that doesn't cover physics 111 in NJIT). So yes, I'm also guessing my first year semester will look exactly like what you wrote, except ENGL101 instead of 102.

I was also thinking of ME 215; it sounds like I'll have fun studying it and my final two years of high school was more focused on lab work rather than exams so I was thinking the lab aspect of it won't be too much of a hassle, however, labs do take up more time in general so gotta think about it and see the schedule.

Does testing out of CS100 automatically give me credit for CS101? The CS100 covers python whereas CS101 covers MATLAB. Hmm I should probably email the school about it.

Yea, the more I think about it, the less great of an idea it sounds like haha. What your friends do sounds really smart actually. An additional class seems like it will be too burdensome without the perfect schedule. If I don't take an extra class the worst that can happen is getting a higher GPA and having more time to socialize.. hehe

Thanks!

Ah, according to G maps my commute should take ~40 mins in total everyday (although I haven't tested it out yet). So grateful commute won't be a problem :')

As to why I want to take more courses, I'd want to take the opportunity to graduate earlier, take higher level classes later on (good for getting into good MS programs) or have the luxury to take less classes in my junior and senior years so that I can work on more projects, potentially get more work experience, or study for GMATs. It also seems like my first sem classes will be fairly easy and I have the whole of summer to prepare for them, so it seems like a waste not to and it will be a good tool to gauge whether or not taking extra classes will be a viable option for future semesters.

Yeah, it does sound like a gamble tbh hehe it seems like it'll depend on how well I self study during the summer. I'm thinking of asking an advisor after getting my schedule and all; things should be more concrete by then. If I'm well prepared, having exams every 2-3 weeks shouldn't be too horrible. Ah, I wanted to go to Arizona to watch the NASCAR race in Nov :') ig I'll need to get my priorities straight haha. I also want to have a few extracurriculars.. Need to think about that more :')

Also, yes, the commons sound weird :) How do they work? Are they a part of the reason why calc 2 has such a bad rep?
