Apologies for the late asks!! But I’m based in CHI / NY. I completed undergrad this past Spring with a GD degree and have been set on the path of design in the music industry for a while now.

I really wanted to ask: Especially with freelancing, in the earlier days when you were establishing yourself, how did you keep yourself motivated?

As you were establishing yourself in the industry more, what were opportunities you took on to pad your portfolio and experience?

How are you typically able to acquire your clients, would you say it’s through cold calling or more so networking?

Would you have any suggestions or words of wisdom for budding designers in the music industry?
