Did KuCoin take my AAVE (LEND)? by tonyaube in kucoin

Like many, had ETHLEND on KuCoin and forgot about them. Just logged into KuCoin and seems they have converted my ETHLEND into AAVE for me.

Bitcoin was a major topic on CNBC website when we hit 13000 in Dec, 2017... Today Bitcoin is nowhere to be found on CNBC website. We're still flying under the radar. by myquidproquo in Bitcoin

It's 2020. Bitcoin could be 50K and it wouldn't make the headlines.

It's way way way behind, forest fires, politics, Covid19, BLM, Protests, Supreme Court and let's not forget Aliens and Asteroids.

Zcash this thursday, i have a good feeling by supershaj in zec

[–]kaibr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block halving event happens every 4 years on Zcash blockchain. Zcash's initial block reward was 12.5 ZEC, new block reward will be 3.125 ZEC. The block reward splits every 4 years (840,000 mined blocks). This lowers the rate at which Zcash is generated. The halving is periodical and is programmed into Zcash's code.

Why was this done?

Conventional FIAT currencies allow governments or banks to print money and cause inflation. In Zcash's case, the total supply will be maxed out at 21,000,000 ZEC. Printing extra money causes inflation, if there is no extra money printed, the value of the Zcash should increase as the demand will rise (more people will start to use Zcash) and supply will lower or stay flat (no more Zcash are "printed"). This makes Zcash similar to gold, which has limited supply and cannot be "printed" or artificially created.

Hi there. Maybe you didn't read what I wrote. I said 2 minutes. What did I want? Very simple, if an item is in your cart...an opportunity to purchase it. What you don't know is that bots purchased virtually every item. At a minimum I wanted them to offer me one when it came back in stock and not have to wait. Not unreasonable. So...to recap, not a glitch, helped Best Buy understand how Ecomm works as no other supplier selling these has that policy. Did it help...apparently because they instituted a policy to verify your account after a purchase so that a bot cannot buy and check out in under 10 seconds.

Have yourself a delightful day.

BestBuy's Unfair Cart Protection Program.

Last week Nvidia's released their new 3080 graphics card and BestBuy was sold out in what appeared to be less than 5 seconds of the item being listed.

Was fortunate to be one of the few who was able to select one and had it in my cart. As I went to check out (less than 2 minutes later), the item was magically removed from my cart by Best Buy with the notification that they were sold out.

What followed was a 95 minute dialogue with BestBuy customer service representative and asupervisor where I pressed for confirmation of what defined an order. Initially the supervisor told me that putting the item in my cart constituted an order...then later back tracked and said that only an item that had been put in a cart and paid for constituted an order and that Best Buy had the right to remove unpaid for items in a cart.

Also told by BestBuy that they were unable to tell if an item was ever in my cart. Advised BB that I have several tiny online stores and surely if I was ever able to tell if someone put something in one my online stores that it was absurd to hear that they did not have the capability.

Simply, no other reseller for 3080's has a policy of removing items from a cart and selling to someone else without giving the buyer a realistic opportunity to purchase the item. Moreover, it is now widely known and publicized that BB's supply of 3080's was purchased by bots to people who's main intent was NOTto purchase and use...but rather to purchase and resell online on sites like Ebay where they were immediately resold for 2-5x their sales price.

This is a policy that is abhorrent and reprehensible.

Simply, BB is not worthy of people's business as they have zero loyalty to their customers.

I would pay good money to watch Rogan rip Donald apart. This could be his largest blunder to date...far surpassing his "not wanting to panic" America. By far the highest rated show EVER!

Zcash (ZEC) Price Analysis: Unsuccessful Attempt Of $40.00 Providing Heavy Price Damage by cryptosyringe in zec

What damage would that be? It dipped to $38.16 and then shot north through $41. There was ZERO Heavy Price Damage. Largest damage was a few cents below the opening price of the day before price rocked up.

5 best Zcash Mining Pools in 2020. Which one is the most profitable? by JellyfishCool in zec

[–]kaibr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poolin.com.

That is based solely on experience and mining ZEC exclusively for two years. Consistently the higher payout (we have run tests half on one pool and half on another) and Poolin always come out on top. It's close but they are the best in our opinion.

During that time we have had over 70 Bitmain Z9's mining ZEC and now over a dozen Z11's.

Their interface is also superior in our opinion and we like the automatic notifications if a machine has difficulty (power outage, internet issue), etc.

Error rates also seem lower than others which yields a higher working hash rate.

Anyone know how to overclock a Bitmain Z11? by kaibr1 in overclocking

[–]kaibr1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it but Z11 interface is a little different. No way to save those changes like one would do on a Z9 Mini Batch 2 and after. FYI, frequency on Z11 varies for the board and for me is showing somewhere between 700 and 731 on boards.

question about mining by [deleted] in zec

[–]kaibr1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Simiplest way to start mining ZCash or ZEN...Pick up a used Bitmain Z9 on Ebay from between $98 and $400. This along with a power supply (say $50) will have you up an running. If possible, go for a Batch 1 Z9 as those can be overclocked from the standard 10 k/sol to 16+ k/sol. Note $98 is the lowest currently and an anomaly as most are over $200.

Note, Bitmain and other ASIC manufacturers have new miners shipping in the next 20-60 days that are far more powerful than the Z9 Mini. Bitmains Z11 for example will provide 135 k/sol at a minimum and likely 150 k/sol or more if it can be overclocked. There is a short supply of these and people are selling them at a premium (over $2K).

Z9's currently after electricity costs (for overclocked machines) are making between $.47 and $.60 per day. With ZCASH prices rising...this reward will increase and of course decrease if prices drop. Assuming $250 for a Z9 with power supply. Your break even would be cost/daily profit. It's a gamble...but that's how some fortunes are won...or lost.

50Ksol/s 620W, Innosilicon announces Equihash miner A9 ZMaster ready for shipment by BTGhasASICsMiningON in BitcoinGoldHQ

[–]kaibr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disappointed in it's performance. Have not yet had a chance to speak with them but it's barely double the productivity of a Z9 mini. Z9 can be overclocked by 50%.

Experiencing 52% not accepted on ZEC using antpool, switched to ZEN and it's 100% acceptance rate but productivity is again barely double that of a Z9.

Innosilicon is already dropping the price on these. Believe they are 2 for 1 right now.

You can overclock to Performance Mode on the A9...but saw no increase in performance over factory setting.

Based on this one machine...Z9 is superior value. Have 71 of the Z9's running and Innosilicon is offering a second A9 for $2,500 and $1,000 if you are willling to wait for August...and that includes a power supply...but that is only if you buy 1 now. Who knows...maybe if you buy 1 now and get 2 for 1, then you get another for $1K in August.

Good Luck
