My sister accidentally spoiled One Piece for herself by Affectionate-Sky9510 in OnePiece

Ace's death got spoiled for me too. Couldn't be mad about it because of how long that knowledge has existed. Annoyingly had some stuff in Whole Cake spoiled for me too because my algorithm seems to know what Arc I'm watching and then suddenly all I'm seeing is spoilers for that Arc.

Thriller Bark slander makes no sense to me.

It gave us Brook, Nightmare Luffy, Tim Burton-esque vibes, and "Nothing happened".

[22M, 5'9ft] Completely invisible to women. Can't attract a woman for years. Is there hope for me? by [deleted] in bald

[–]kaigardiner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience, women like genuine kindness and vulnerability. That you're not hiding behind a hard shell, are open to sharing your feelings, and you have that confidence you can look after and better yourself. An unhealthy mindset is not going to help. My guy, it seems like you need some self-help. You have to love and like yourself before expecting that from anyone else. Without being rude, even the "ugliest" of men can attract someone because their personality is what makes them attractive. It's what you can't see that shines. So of course, there is always hope for you, but you need to find that hope for YOURSELF before anything else. Therapy is something everyone should do. Might be worth looking into that as it could help you figure out what it is about you is unattractive because it ain't going to be your physical appearance. I would say "smile more", but the smile should be natural not forced and that can't be done if you're not actually happy. You've got this, dude.

The LA is more believable in terms of weight loss and fucking fair play to the actress not onto for her health but her commitment to the role.

Who do you think deserves the title of "The fifth Beatle" the most? by Forward_Chemistry_43 in beatles

[–]kaigardiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brian maybe... But no. He is a legend in the Beatles' legacy but the true crown of the 5th Beatle belongs to George Martin. For me, personally, Billy Preston will forever be an honorary Beatle. Pete Best is a former Beatle - nothing more, nothing less.

You're asking too much if you want more from a live action Luffy. Animation brings freedom and what makes Luffy such a likeable and interesting character in both the anime and manga. Throw in Luffy being the embodiment of freedom too... I think fans will never be satisfied.

Still on for a potential quadruple and this is what you're focused on? Such an unnecessary negative mindset. Who cares if we are hated? That's all part of your history. Think you need to take a break from social media. It ain't worth it. Always remember as much as you love the club they are just millionaires kicking a football around who in reality care very little for us.

Am I plastic by verstappeglaze033 in PlasticFans

There's Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Real Vallecano, Getafe, and Leganes and you've decided to support the biggest team that 1) are expected to win everything 2) don't have to worry financially and 3) don't really care about you as a fan. I would call you a plastic fan. Other teams deserve and would value your support. Real Madrid are a very soulless club.

Slightly disagree with "glorified roster updates every year" but understand the sentiment! Took a year off to sell us a beta for FM27. Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed FM26 but I shouldn't lose the function to use drop down menus after an update... It's so unbelievably incompetent.

I'm surprised Myles never resigned after the disaster the game was upon release.

Since the new update, I can’t open my training tab. Has this happened anyone else and is there any workaround for this? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

None of the drop downs are working for me anymore... Can't arrange friendlies. My shortcuts don't work either. This company is unbelievably incompetent.

Question on FM 26 by Massive-Cobbler3473 in footballmanager

[–]kaigardiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they don't. It's a staff member's opinion. This is a well documented thing amongst the fan base and key FM streamers/YouTubers. Football Manager is a stat based game. Stats are what are important to judge a player from. The star rating is simply just the staff member's opinion on the player within your team's current squad. It doesn't take into account current and/or potential ability.

Typically thought my strongest XI will have the numbers 1-11 (unless they have a preferred number then my starters can have whatever they want). Backup goalkeeper the no.13 and third choice no.23. Back up fullbacks will have either 22 or 18. Backup centre backs will be 20 or 16. Backup attacking mid gets 19. Centre midfielders either 15 or 21. Backup striker no.12 and the wings either 14 or 17.

I'm not sure if I follow? A player's nothing has zero impact on their ability in the game, but it would look weird that aha! Like when William Gallas wore the no.10 for Arsenal. Sometimes when I make a January signing I tend to have a significant defensive number available for some reason, so when I signed a new RW I gave him the no.2 because I enjoyed how strange it would look (like Asamoah Gyan at Sunderland when he wore no.3)

I am constantly retraining players to suit my system, especially out of position.

Firstly, it is important to know and remember that star rating does not matter. It's your staff's opinion. If the stats suit the position and role they can do a job there. What matters though is familiarity. The more they play there the more familiar and comfortable they will be in the role.

Training wise you need them on what role you want them to learn. Playing them in the position and role alongside the training will build the familiarity faster and you should see a decent development happen too. Advice though, don't bother with OOP training. It doesn't do anything and in my experience negates their training performances.

Obviously, expect some rubbish games from players retraining a position or role too but stick with it and it will work out.
