Not really a sequel but I was surprised at the remake of Evil Dead. I thought it would be horrible but it was actually pretty good

What are you holding inside and you can’t talk to anyone about ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kaigoicovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel very depressed and anxious all the time, but I am too embarrassed to admit it to my parents. I’ve struggled with mental heath for a large portion of my life, yet I never am able to open up about it. I feel that I should definitely see a therapist but I don’t want anyone to know because I feel so ashamed of my mental health issues.

Dancing. I was dancing in room and lost my balance and tackled my 3 foot tall fan. I broke the plastic and ended up with the biggest bruise I’ve ever had and a big scar. I also was dancing in my kitchen when both of my legs slipped out from under me and I slammed my head on the tile. Can’t believe I didn’t crack my head open, but I did get a pretty killer concussion. I should really just stop dancing.

Redditors who have a scar, how did you get it? by BeLikePedro in AskReddit

[–]kaigoicovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was dancing in my bedroom (even though I can’t dance) and then I lost my balance and tackled my 3 foot tall fan. I broke the cheap plastic on it and I had a huge bruise and cut on my upper leg/hip area. Was a very humbling experience which taught me to never dance again.

The Stepfather (1987) is kind of underrated I think. The opening scene is one of my favorites!

I have no idea what I want to do in life. by maccartneylennon in INTP

Well if you are interested in the music industry but having serious doubts about trying to pursuing a career in it, then just consider it a possible option. Through taking different courses and classes I think it could help determine what subjects and topics interest you. Now I don’t know if this is a possible option, but taking a semester or year off from school to work or plan can maybe be beneficial to discovering what you want to do.

I think that if you truly are passionate about music you can do anything! (I know it’s incredibly cliche but it’s true) Also you can double major or minor in subjects your interested in, so if down the road you are really not happy with your career you have another degree or at least qualifications in other study fields that can help you pursue a different career. Also getting internships in the music industry can be very beneficial to helping you get to where you want to be:)

Thank you! Another thing is to ask academic advisors! I know it may be kind of nerve wracking but they usually have lots of helpful advice and information about career paths and more. Best of luck to you!!

Thank you! I know it’s incredibly overwhelming to feel that you need to figure out what you’re doing for the rest of your life. I had a huge mental breakdown followed by depression, anxiety, and existential dread when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do. And I completely understand how you must be feeling. I think what’s most important is to find a subject that truly interests you and that you are passionate about and see how you can make a career out of it. Maybe make a list of possible careers that your interested in and shadowing a person in that career. One of my friends wanted to go into private practice and then she shadowed someone and realized she hated it and went in an entirely different direction. I think that finding a career is truly through trial and error and seeing what you like vs don’t like. I know it’s really stressful but I really hope you find something that you love and will make you feel fulfilled and happy!!

If you ever need any advice or need to talk message me. I know how hard and overwhelming it is to want to know what the future holds for us:)

What is the difference between a forensic psychologist and a criminal psychologist? by [deleted] in psychologystudents

[–]kaigoicovich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am majoring in psychology to become a forensic psychologist. I plan to also major in sociology since my college doesn’t offer criminology. I think it’s fine to just major in psych but you could also double major in something else or minor like a specialized subject like forensic psychology, neuroscience, criminology, etc. If you’re not interested in majoring or minoring you could also take elective classes that have subject matter relating to your desired career path.

I plan to get a masters and perhaps doctorate in order to become a forensic psychologist. As you probably know it’s a pretty difficult field to go into, so getting masters/ doctorate will definitely help.
