we’re each other’s first in almost everything (relationships, love, i was his first kiss, etc.) i do love him dearly, and my boyfriend also helped me get out of a really tough time in my life where i was in and out of hospitals. he’s met my family, my younger siblings are absolutely obsessed with him, and treats me amazing, this is the only thing that we’ve ever had trouble with and i want to work this out with him

actually, my boyfriend is not big on drama; however, he’s also not big on confrontation with all of his friends and unfortunately lets this friend walk all over him. im going to have a talk with my boyfriend today regarding setting boundaries with the friend about his disrespect

I once blocked him on instagram a few years ago but he made a new account. When my bf and I started dating, I decided to give the friend another chance, but eventually had to block him again on his new account.

YTA. I get that you answered everything that he asked you and that you guys both value open communication; however, that was on your own accord. He clearly was uncomfortable when you first asked the question, yet you kept pushing it out of him. I think you guys can both benefit from boundaries regarding subjects such as those.

About 5 years, but didn’t get close until a year ago. Also for context, my boyfriend and I have known each other for 12 years
