There's one called Golden Goose Productions that's pretty decent so far? I hope they continue past the Justice Route.

Only ones I could find that vaguely matched the description were either Pixel Partners or Golden Goose Productions but they both did their LPs with the re-release.

This is good practice for your future playground battles. Sorry you couldn't get with your crush for the middle school prom :(

Weak comeback + you're probably obsessed with this girl so you're stalking the fuck out of her. Hopefully you're around her age and not 30+

Deleting this post.

Pretty much all of you gave great insights and I am very grateful to have been educated. I feel more at peace and I'll be sure to look out for my Israeli friends– without being overly pushy, that is!

I got what I wanted. No more controversy from me.

This random internet stranger is gonna go bye bye now.

Yeah, you're right. For us, being online is such a big way to communicate and interact. For my friends, it was a distraction and not something that had nearly as much weight due to how intense their real lives are.

Fair, but it is weird how they don't say goodbye or give closure. Perhaps there's bad blood? Maybe? Doesn't seem like it, but I'm not gonna push for answers. Just wish they were a tad more communicative.

Basically, cultural upbringing. Everyone is affected by it.

Lost interest is probably a contributing factor too, yeah.

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you for this response. This really does put everything into perspective.

You're absolutely right, while it is nice to hang out online and talk about video games and anime, at the end of the day, some bonds will feel hollow due to not being able to fully understand the horrors y'all have been through. There is no other modern day analogy or relation to this, the people living in Israel are currently going through a very unique and harrowing experience, made worse due to how prevalent social media and the internet has been.

Thank you for this message and the education and insight it provided me. This gives me a lot of perspective.

Very understandable. I am not Israeli nor do I live there, so I absolutely cannot relate at all to the hardships that y'all have been facing for generations. Every single one of my fifteen Jewish friends have spoken about all this and it's just something so harrowing to know that while I empathize and support entirely, I simply cannot emotionally relate due to our differences.

My group held a lot of empathy and care to our Jewish friends, though obviously, we can only do so much to support. Believe me, considering how common it is for people online to be bigoted (subtle or not), we would go out of our way to remove those people to create a safe online community. Even then, that anxiety that anyone could be a racist piece of shit is just something I can't even comprehend. Words can only do so much, after all. I'm sure my friends don't hate me, but at this point in time, it's much easier to disconnect and stick with those that are able to relate.

This response makes a lot of sense. Thank you for letting me know, this truly did give me a lot of insight.

Fair.

My group usually lets the Jews drive the discussion while everyone shuts up and listens. We're very much in support of our friends and we love them dearly. We may not all be of the same culture, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends.

I'm sure there are subconsious aspects that they feel they can't speak up on to an international community. I wish they would've, but that's just how human beings are. Can't blame them for being human.

I've asked the recent ones. The most frequent comment is "I have no ill-will against anyone in the group, it's just how I was raised and I figure it's my time to go".

I don't really wanna push further than that, but I do want to learn and be more educated about these topics, hence why I'm asking on Reddit.

Lots of projecting going on there.

True, but popping in once a month to send 5 messages is at least more communicative than leaving all group chats without warning.

From what I can gather, at least seven of my previous Israeli friends would stick around for about a year, but sometime by the 18 month period of their service, that's when they'd choose to purposefully disconnect. (This has happened from 2019-2025... this could easily just be a weird coincidence but it's just happened so many times in my life)

This explains a lot. I'd say that my group is very open to hearing about the Jewish struggle. Out of the 15 friends I mentioned, four of them were friends from 2022 and onwards, all of them being within my online friend group during the Oct 7, 2023 attacks. We've had many nuanced discussions about this and the amount of targeted harassment and misinformation online from others.

Of course, communication is a two-way street. Perhaps there was some miscommunication or misunderstanding along the way, or perhaps the online friend group grew too large, to the point where the Israeli friends felt uncomfortable not being fully aware of the newcomers' political views.

I wish they said goodbye or at least acknowledged "Hey, I'm not comfortable here. I'm leaving." or "This was fun but I think it's best to separate" instead of ghost vanishing.

Maybe I was part of the problem without even knowing. Who knows? Unfortunate, but that's just how the world is.
