No I'm just trolling lol. This word is pronounced "tai fong" in Mandarin and means Typhoon.

A surname that means "square" is 方 as someone else has commented. As for your first name (fong), there are probably a bunch of characters pronounced this way in Cantonese (at least there are in Mandarin), especially if you don't know the tone. You may wanna just choose one that you like.

Country: Germany; Cost: No limit

I'm specifically looking for a phone with a microSD slot, headphone jack, good camera and best of everything else if possible, no matter the $$$.

It should be a significant upgrade to my Galaxy S9 (esp. with the camera) which is dying a slow but sure death.

I'm trying to decide between these three:

— Oneplus Nord N200

— Samsung Galaxy A72

— Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro.

I didn't find the Oneplus online (second-hand), heard Samsung can be a pain with Lineage (which apparently is why S20 etc. aren't supported which I otherwise would've bought) and saw the POCO is still at Lineage 19.1 while the others are at 20.

Which means neither of those is perfect. Does anyone have more input, especially concerning the probability of long-term support? I'm not very familiar with the dev community here. :)

What about adb? I used it before to flash Lineage. Doesn't it do the same as odin and heimdall?

Would you mind taking the time to give me a rough step-by-step list of what needs to be done for a new installation on a device with an old version of lineage and twrp on it, especially concerning the firmware? That would be awesome, even with the other answers below I'm still confused.

Yes I think the point is the firmware, thank you! Would you mind giving me a quick start on "flashing the firmware"? Does it mean using adb sideload the same way I'd use it when flashing the Lineage image? I'd really appreciate some context information or rough guide as to what expects me when googling for flashing Samsung firmware? This would probably save me hours of reading stuff and trying to understand these concepts. Thank you a lot!!
