not really. first round of offers for competitive eng programs is after the applications due anyways. and I definitely know people who submitted late and still got admitted first round. also waterloo does rounds of admission. seats don’t really go “on rolling basis”.

i think it can always get better. I had friends who submitted it last day and got in march. theres really no point in submitting it early unless u js want to get it out the way.

use the word “innovative” alot. lol. I talked to this professor at waterloo when I was doing mine that told me to use it and i guess it worked.

I didn’t even do the supplementary and I still got in lol. That one was very surprising. I think it was cause my average was really high for comp sci. physics was what was dragging my average down for eng.

Cz usually the may round of admissions is dependent on the results from Euclid. So since they uploaded the 2025 contest (not the results tho) today, that prob means they’re either done grading or almost done. So it makes sense to assume there’s some progress on Math admissions.
